Go ahead get you an exchange student. Go ahead get two. Go ahead get 5. Go ahead and make them all girls 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷. Go ahead let them in, love them, guide them, protect them. The hardest part........letting them go. I will never for one moment let a single memory of them fade. (Marco wasn't ours, but he became family as well. So yes we have another son as well💙).
Am I protective? Absolutely yes.
Do I love fiercely? Absolutely yes.
Will I always be available to them at any given moment? Absolutely yes.
Will there be rules, curfews, and chores? Absolutely yes.
Will we both make mistakes? Absolutely yes.

One thing I've learned........they will mold you, tough love you, and help make you a better version of yourself. Only if your heart/mind/soul is open to the change.

Forever grateful for the opportunity to be a mom. To see the bond Hayden has created with his sisters and brother. I know now, he will never be alone. by @amandastaley12

I was once told by someone who absolutely doesn't know love, that being a host parent wasn't about "feeling needed", "feeling loved and giving love". Honestly I believe that these are true foundations. This girl has absolutely become the star of this lil family 🌟. We love you more than ever Ila June. by @amandastaley12

We are getting two more exchange students this coming school year. Ilaria was having a birthday! So what does a baker do? Funny you ask.....she bakes a cake and blows out the candles for their far away exchange student. We love you kiddo. Can't wait to have you here with us❤️ by @amandastaley12
