Welcome to my world…🥹🖤 Since I was 3 years old, the dance studio has always been my safe place, my therapy, my escape…And now I get to create a space that nutures those same feelings for so many other students 🖤 @dancefusionkauai

Our students are my WHY 🩷 Through the stress, struggles, frustrations, exhaustion, and mental heaviness that can come with this job… I show up for them. Every time. Because they are worth it. 🥹

I’m so incredibly grateful that we have three other teachers who share that same love and mindset too. We may have our hard days, but at the end of the day, we’re here because we love these kids and we believe in them.

They are the reason we keep showing up, pouring our hearts into what we do, and doing our best to make a difference in their lives. 🥹 Ok that’s my sappiness for the day! Lol

Dance teachers have tough days too, but we always show up! For our students, for our passion of dance, and for the love of what we do 🩷

When you love what you do, it looks a little something like this 🩷🥹

Not every child walks through our doors feeling confident or ready to step into the spotlight—and that’s okay. It’s our job and goal to help each student discover their inner confidence, courage, and joy through dance.

For some, that growth happens quickly. For others, it takes a little more time. No matter the journey, we’ll be there to encourage, support, and cheer them on every step of the way!

Dancing with my daughter is pretty special, but if you’ve ever had to teach your own child, you know how challenging that can be lol…But this post is just for her because I’m proud of her 🖤

Sometimes I feel guilty because I pour so much of my time, energy, and heart into all of my other students and the studio that I realize Mia ends up taking the back seat to my energy and attention at dance a lot of the time.

She challenges me every day as a mom, and I definitely challenge her too, it goes both ways lol. Navigating the balance of being mom and daughter while also being teacher and student isn’t always easy, but I’m so incredibly proud of the young dancer and person she’s becoming.

Those pain in the ass days will always be worth it. 😉🖤
