Just obsessed. One of my favorite wines from this last year. A blend of indigenous white grapes in the São Mamede Mountain Range. These are incredible ungrafted bush vines planted in 1901. While many Portuguese white wines are crushable young babes, the Alentejo holds weight and austerity like a fine Burgundy. 10 + years ago I took a trip to Norway and Denmark that changed my life. Forever will I be grateful for these memories. I grew as a person, and was deeply reminded that I was actually good at my job. Hi Friends! As many of you know, I recently ended my tenure at Amador as Wine Director. I have reorganized, spent time catching up on life, and taken a lot of naps.
