Last half of 2025 ended with a bang when it started busted af

We healed, found light in the dark, worked our tail off, stayed open to love, entered leadership and moved out of black mold.

Grateful to have ended it with some of my favorite people (except the dude, can’t delete single photos tho 🙃) 💜

2026 is the year of do don’t just say- we’re focusing on follow through and have already signed up for an open mic night to do standup comedy so here goes nothing (like literally nothing, I have nothing written, send help) taken in Silverdale, Washington by @amandayoga_

To my first heart dog,

It took a little to write this, but deserves a permanent spot on the feed, especially when you were the main attraction from day one.

You made a dog person out of me instead of a cat person after a lifetime of bias.

You broke all (well, most) stereotypes of a husky. The goofiest, happiest, separation anxiously attached boy any two girls growing up in their 20s could’ve asked for.

You showed me what makes a dog a best friend and so much more. You also created more of a bond between me and my human best friend. And that’s something that withstands time.

I remember me and your mom talking about how you’d be with a baby and how cute you’d be. Little did we know how lucky we’d be to find out soon enough. And you crushed that role, no surprise.

We always knew this day would come but even in the days texting up to it- I’d never accept it was a reality.

You really were our best friend through a lot of tumultuous years. You were there right by my side when I lost my dad, and I’ll always be grateful and missing your fur for those moments precisely.

The biggest joys are the memories of you getting to meet and know my bay girl and personal heart/soul dog. Like one big cosmetic connection. My favorite thing ever.

Thanks for looking after our girl, @angieberning , all these years. Anyone who met you became your biggest fan, bud.

RIP King, brobro, broski, bro man. You actually were the BEST dog, Brody. Literal VETERINARIANS would say that, which for your breed, is preeeettttttyyyyy coool my guy.

Really proud for this week. After a year and a half of a leadership/business program at my company, I did my final presentation to regional leadership and graduated Tuesday after way too much unnecessary self doubt and a year long break. The journey was bumpy but the reward is so great. I’m so excited for my future here. Having quality and effective leaders in healthcare is SO important, and I can’t wait to make my mark 🥹

Only upwards and onwards from here!

Also- the entire room was full of women. Incredibly intelligent, strong minded, successful, beautiful women. We really are going to run the world so soon yall

Biggest shout goes to MY leader and mentor- @lua.nova3, the amount of healing and growth that has happened with your guidance is far more than I ever could’ve imagined. I’m so grateful and wish I could think of a more encompassing word- but there isn’t one. You’ve been my light at the end of a handful of dark tunnels. Thank you for being you.

Side note to myself for when this pops up as a memory- trust yourself to the point of the people who love you, they really are the North Star. The only way through is through. Delilah Day annual photo dump ❤️

How she is 5 blows my mind and we have been through quite the year together!

I still can’t believe 4 years ago today you were dropped off at my apartment in Denver fresh from the streets of a New Mexican Reservation and terrified of everything from stairs, to car rides to humans.

She’s come so far it’s almost like you’d never know. Except the car thing, she still absolutely hates the car.

We had quite the scare a couple weeks ago but my gratitude has never been stronger than her making a full recovery.

I’m grateful to have a best friend who loves every outside landscape and environment as much as me.

Gratitude post 💞

I knew today would be a hard day. A year ago on this day, I experienced a very traumatic event that ended up creating a huge shift in my life.

Add on the end of a relationship I never thought would cease to exist, it’s easy to say this day could skip and I’d be happy as a clam.

I’m so proud and happy of how far I’ve come- personally and professionally. And excited for what the future holds.

My manager and coworker knew the details and surprised me with this giant sweetest gift basket I think I’ve ever received.

To feel so supported and seen and loved is so rare and especially at a job. I’m so beyond grateful to have my mentor, career growth in the very near future, and a sister wife as a coworker.
