Before Maa Durga arrives, a year of dedication speaks. 🙏✨

Behind every beautiful murti lies a journey of patience, hard work, and countless hours of devotion. In the narrow lanes of Kumartuli, these artisans give their heart and soul to shaping Maa Durga with their own hands. Every curve, every detail, and every stroke carries a story of sacrifice, creativity, and faith.

For us, Durga Puja may last a few days, but for these artisans, the journey begins months in advance — from a simple structure of clay to the divine form we eagerly wait to welcome.

Tomorrow, the celebration begins. The streets will light up, the dhak will echo, and millions of hearts will welcome Maa home. But behind all that joy stands the silent dedication of the hands that made it possible.

We celebrate the arrival of Maa Durga, but let us also celebrate the hands that bring her to life. ❤️🙏

Street of Kolkata:
Where every narrow street, every passerby, and every old wall carries a story of everyday life. Just a few frames from the streets of the City of Joy.

Every morning, he carries more than just a load on his head—he carries the hopes, needs, and responsibilities of his family. Behind every hardworking face, there’s a family waiting for him to come home.
