What started as just an idea turned into a whole publishing company and today, I finally get to share the very first cover of SEVYN Magazine. 🙏🏽 A very Big Thank you to our Cover Star @jaetips & I’m beyond grateful for every single person who trusted me and contributed their work, their stories, and their energy to this first issue. None of this would feel real without the love and support I’ve gotten along the way, and I truly can’t wait for y’all to hold this in your hands. 📰 We’re keeping physical media alive !!! For Diani Ferguson, creativity doesn’t exist in just one form. From DJing and photography to modeling and songwriting, her artistic identity continues to evolve, with music serving as a constant thread connecting it all.

Coming out of The Bronx, Diani represents a generation of creatives who refuse to be defined by a single discipline. She’s still exploring, still creating, and finding new ways to turn her perspective into something of her own.

AN IDEA TWO YEARS IN THE MAKING.
On September 19, @lxnypresents brought The Culture Market to life, turning a long standing idea into a gathering centered around fashion, creativity, and community.

Founded by @iamlexuus and his sister @nylurr , LXNY was created out of a desire to become more immersed in the culture and create more opportunities for creatives to connect.
But for the founders, The Culture Market is only the beginning. The vision is to build LXNY into a creative platform that goes beyond traditional events, creating opportunities for independent brands, artists, DJs, media, and the wider community through pop-ups, photoshoots, styling projects, art showcases, and more.
“I want people who attended to feel like they were part of something special, and those who missed it to look forward to the next one,” the founder shared.

With plans to bring The Culture Market back at least twice a year, LXNY is laying the groundwork for something that can continue to grow with the community it serves. by @amani_haze
