![I BOUGHT ANOTHER CAMERA!!!! 👀
I present to you, the newest member of my family, Fujifilm X-S20!! 🎥
My Fuji collection just keeps on growing, BUTT I’ve always wanted a video-first camera to practice cinematography & dabble in filmmaking, so I impulsively bought the X-S20!🤑
A little fun fact, my first passion was actually video, in 2018 I was determined to start a whole YouTube channel and make a bunch of cinematic travel videos, but then that dream was pretty short lived because, hello lockdown.
And then for the last 6 years, photography and weddings have literally taken. over. my. life (which I’m forever grateful for), but that meant my dream was forgotten and pushed to the side.
Now recently, I’ve been finding my creative spark again, I’m getting that creative itch to try new things again, experiment, learn new skills & just create for the sake of creating!
So I decided to invest in a more video-focused camera! I stuck with Fujifilm because I LOVE their colour science & since I’ve already got a good system going with my existing gear, it just made sense to stay within the Fuji family!
I ended up going for the X-S20 & from first impressions, it’s compact, lightweight & has built-in stabilisation, which was an absolute MUST for me!
Between my X-T30ii & X100V, I decided to sell the latter, I find myself reaching for my X-T30ii so much more & I prefer the flexibility of being able to switch lenses.
@fujifilmuk if you’re looking for your next brand ambassador, I’m right here don’t be shy x

We set off from Birmingham at 5:30pm on Friday & arrived in North Devon around 9pm! 🚗
The journey took about 3.5 hours with rush-hour traffic, but without it, it should take near enough 3 hours, which isn’t too bad!!
The drive is sooo scenic, especially as you get closer to Exmoor, so I’d highly recommend travelling while it’s still light to make the most of the countryside views! 🏞️
Some of the roads can be very narrow & winding, just so you know if you’re arriving while it’s dark.
📍 Highcliffe House B&B
We stayed at Highcliffe House, a stunning adults-only B&B located high above the coastline, with the most incredible views! 🥹
If there’s one thing I NEED, it’s a room with a view & every room here has one! We chose to stay in the Myrtleberry room, because it comes with its own private balcony!🤭
There’s only 6 rooms in total, so the B&B has such an intimate & homely feel! It’s run by Richard & Robert, who make the whole experience feel so personal and welcoming!
They even prepare breakfast themselves, with generous portions & plenty of options to choose from. You can really tell they pour their hearts into everything they do!
This was our first time staying in a B&B, and it’s set the bar HIGHH!!😮💨

![With AI content EVERYWHERE, I’m SO bored of the content I’ve been consuming recently, its doing nothing for my brain, everything sounds the same, I miss authenticity, where people actually spent hours on being creative or using their brain, instead of letting a bot do everything, I actually hate reading most captions & articles because it’s bot generated 🤖. Like, GIVE ME REAL HUMAN BEINGS!!! I wanna hear weird thoughts, opinions, see personalities.. surely it can’t be just me???
I guess the only upside is that I’ve been putting my phone down more because it’s made me want to consume less.
So this year I wanted to make a conscious effort to reduce my screen time during my days off from work, I’ve said yes to every single plan, met internet friends in real life, had conversations with strangers, explored places closer to home, picked up new hobbies & turning ordinary days into adventures & real memories that’ll we’ll always remember and cherish.
rant over, felt good to get it off my chest x
