POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hi, I’m Amara, a Jesus lover, wife, and mom navigating life with grace, curiosity, and courage.

I love to dare, evolve, and challenge the norm, so I may not fit the conventional “content girlie” mold 😂😁. I believe growth happens when we ask the hard questions, stay open to unlearning, learning, and relearning, and give ourselves permission to do things differently.

My hope is to build a community of people who value growth, efficiency, and authenticity in every area of life. This space is not about comparison or competition, but about realizing there’s more than one way to live, grow, and succeed.

I am glad you are here. Now your turn — drop your name and where you are from below. Let’s build something interesting.

Financial literacy starts early!

I want my children to learn not just how to save money, but how to make money work for them.

Fall in Canada is not for the weak, especially when you have a preschooler with strong opinions about the weather. 😂🍂

“Mommy, I’m hot!” Ma’am, you were shivering 10 minutes ago! PLEASE cooperate. 😩

Moms, what’s the one thing your kids argue with you about every single morning? 👇🏾

When you say you work in Supply Chain and someone asks, “So, you work in a warehouse?” 😂

Meanwhile, Supply Chain Professionals are procuring aircraft components, negotiating software contracts, sourcing raw materials and buying products for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Supply Chain is EVERYWHERE.

If you’re exploring a career in Procurement or Supply Chain, don’t limit yourself to one industry.

Save this list and tell me: which industry would you love to work in?

Part 2 drops next week! 👀

Hosting for the people I love is a part of me I never want to lose. 🤎🍂

From turkey prep, countless store runs, decorating, cooking and baking, to cleaning up, pumpkin carving with the kids, and endless gist… we did it ALL! 😂🦃

But honestly, having these beautiful minds under one roof, sharing food, laughter, stories, and creating memories made every bit of it worth it.

It was such a privilege to host and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with you all. 🥹❤️

Thank you for coming. The food was good, the gist was better, and your host had an absolute BLAST! 😂🥂

Here’s to more gatherings, full tables, and beautiful memories. 🍁🤎

Boundaries are great but please don’t poke other people’s boundaries.

As your Procurement Queen, I’m out here looking for a good deal to bring back to my people. 😢

Where are the deals on bills nowadays ? Like
50% off hydro?
Buy 1 month of rent, get the 2nd free?

Still checking but nothing yet. 😳🤯 taken in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada by @amara_j11

Everyone tells you how to invest. Almost nobody tells you what NOT to do. 😒

I learned some of these lessons the expensive way… $7K expensive.

Investing is a great tool for building wealth, but understanding what you’re putting your money into matters just as much as starting.

Save this for your investing journey and tell me: what’s one financial lesson you learned the hard way in the comments? 👇🏾 taken in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada by @amara_j11

I want to be the person you think of when someone says Supply Chain or Procurement - at work, at home, in the group chat, even when somebody casually mentions a supplier. 😂

My mindset has always been: why not me? And why not more?

I genuinely believe so much is possible when you bring the right energy, stay curious, keep learning, and actually put yourself out there.

I don’t want to just do Supply Chain.
I want to talk about it, teach it, make it relatable, and make people understand how powerful this career can be.

So yes, I want to be unforgettable to the people I serve…

AND I want my name to come up when people say, “Who should I follow for Supply Chain?” 😂💼

Big dreams? Absolutely.
Too ambitious? Never.

Your previous experience isn’t wasted just because you want to pivot.

Sometimes, it becomes your competitive advantage.

My Electronics and IT experience + Supply Chain knowledge allowed me to bridge the gap between engineering teams and global suppliers.

So before you convince yourself that you’re “starting over,” ask yourself:

What if everything I’ve learned so far is exactly what makes me valuable in my next career?

What’s stopping you from pivoting?
