It was an honour to be invited as a panelist to @ahbaroi’s Marketplace Mandate a few months ago🫶🏽

The heart behind it was simple but powerful! To remind believers in the workplace that they are needed right where they are. In every industry, every role and at every level, there is an opportunity to represent Jesus beyond the four walls of the Church.

The marketplace needs believers who don’t just speak about Christ, but who embody Him. If you are a believer, please understand that you have been enlisted into this mission!Consider how you are stewarding your life, as a disciple commissioned to make disciples.

This is not optional. The quicker we come into agreement with the word of God, the quicker we’ll see the revival we’ve been praying for!!! by @amaraade_

When you don’t know the value of the role,how will you steward it well?

Both men and women must understand the power of a Helper! This is not a secondary role, this is a God-ordained position with real responsibility. But what a privilege that we don’t have to figure it out ourselves, we are the helped of God. He helps us to help others ladies!

I pray that you would stop running from the ways in which the Lord has called you to be a Helper on this earth. Don’t be ruled by fear, insecurity, laziness or ignorance please! Partner with God and step into position! by @amaraade_

A few weeks ago at @9dwoman_ ‘The Ezer Brunch’ 🩵

Was such an honour to be invited as a panelist to speak to this beautiful community.

“Ezer” the Hebrew word for Helper, as seen in Genesis 2:18. God says: “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Later, in the New Testament in John 14 verse 16, Jesus says “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper…”. And He gave us the Holy Spirit!!!!!

If you are woman reading this, you share the same job title as the Holy Spirit. What an honour! You are a solution. Be encouraged! by @amaraade_

How many conversations are ahead of you being propelled into all that God has called you to be?

Having the right conversations with the right people can be life changing in the best way possible.

I’m reminded of the woman at the well. What started as a conversation with Jesus became a life-changing encounter. Through that conversation, she found freedom, truth, and a completely different direction for her life.

There’s power in talking. God often uses conversations to encourage us, challenge us, redirect us, and reveal more of His purpose for our lives

One of the greatest mistakes leaders make is focusing on growth whilst neglecting care.

For the first time at an ECHAD Ministerial Leadership Gathering, we are introducing dedicated Breakout Rooms designed to equip leaders with practical insight for ministry and leadership.

Leading our Pastoral Care & Leadership Development breakout are Pastor Jennifer Mcllister of Paniym City Church and Pastor Amara Adeyemo of Alive Church London.

My Eden and my Gethsemane🤍 @alivechurchlondon you are beautifully both. Thank you JESUS for 7 whole years of your faithfulness! I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good! I have seen with my own eyes, the mercy of the Lord!!!!

Learning that I haven’t “arrived” has been beautifully humbling and honestly, really freeing.

There’s such a temptation to stop learning once you start teaching. It’s so weird, because that’s actually where you should be learning the most. Titles and ministry don’t remove our need for God, they should draw us deeper into His presence.

Anyone who knows me knows this is something I try to live by… I remind myself often that I am the helped of the Lord!!!

In the hard things, I lean on His help. But even in the things that feel natural to me, the areas I’m more comfortable in, I still lean on Him because I need Him always🤍 by @amaraade_

I usually post things like this on LinkedIn, but I have a great Christian community on here who may need to read this🤭

Passion won’t sustain your organisation. Systems will.

I’ve been speaking to leaders recently, building organisations with incredible visions and there’s a consistent theme in many of these conversations. The upward trajectory they are believing for will come through the systems they create today that will speak for them tomorrow.

Whether it’s your business, ministry, passion project or even plans for your personal life ,you need more than good ideas and good intentions. You need structure! The organisation needs systems. It needs processes that actually allow it to grow and flourish in its purpose.

Passion is important, it helps you start and it fuels vision. But it is not consistent. It comes and goes. Systems are what carry you on the days you don’t feel motivated. They create stability, clarity, and sustainability.

As Christians, it can be easy to lean so heavily on spiritual language that we avoid practical responsibility. We say “God will do it” but don’t build what is needed to steward what He has already placed in our hands. We pray, but we don’t plan. We believe, but we don’t build.

Faith without works is dead! Get practical people of God. Systems are not a lack of faith, they are stewardship.

If everything depends on you showing up at your best every single day, it won’t last. But if you build something with clear systems and structure, it can grow beyond you and remain aligned with its purpose.

Build the systems.
Create clarity.
Refine as you go.

I had the privilege of being part of the @ahbaroi Marketplace Mandate panel, and what an event it was!

This is discipleship.

Following Jesus isn’t something we switch on at church and off in the workplace. It’s who we are, everywhere we go. In your meetings, your decisions, your leadership, your quiet moments when no one’s watching.

You’re not in your field by accident. God is intentional. Every space you step into is an opportunity to reflect Him!

It’s not always loud and it’s not always a sermon.
Sometimes it’s your consistency, integrity and your posture when things get tough. The way you choose Christ, again and again.

I may not be in the corporate world myself, but I get to walk closely with women who are and what a privilege it is to encourage these women that they are commissioned to be the hands, feet and even the voice of Jesus, outside of the 4 walls of the church.

The marketplace doesn’t just need Christians. It needs disciples. People who carry Jesus in how they live, lead, and love!🤍 by @amaraade_

Marriage, divorce, singleness and dating are all uncomfortable topics from the pulpit, and even more so within the congregation. Yet the statistics are staggering, even amongst Christians. In this service almost half of the congregation stepped forward to the altar in response to the call for those from broken homes.

Many people don’t understand God’s design for marriage: a life of sacrificial living that mirrors the relationship between Christ and the Church. It’s a huge deal! Yet these days, it’s treated as nothing more than a piece of paper or an excuse to throw a party and dress up. It has to be bigger than that.
Unfortunately, society continues to lean further into the enemy’s agenda regarding divorce and relationship breakdown.

My hope is that there are still believers who have a deep desire to do marriage right. Who care enough to take the right steps that lead to marriage. This includes choosing a partner wisely (godly principles), not ignoring red flags, seeking wise counsel, and pursuing purity. And who care enough to take the right steps WITHIN marriage — outdoing one another in honour, giving more than receiving, and upholding the sanctity of the covenant.

I may not have been married many years, but if I can encourage even a few people to see this thing called marriage through God’s eyes, I believe there will be an increase in godly marriages which will lead to godly families, and in turn populate the Kingdom of God, and empty hell. This is the big picture 🙏🏾 by @amaraade_
