I’m so proud to say that at just 11 years old, I secured a contract with Adidas as a female athlete. That is massive. When I first started receiving support from this incredible brand, I was told they hadn’t signed a female younger than 14 before, and that’s just how it was going to be. Even then, I was so appreciative. I would regularly receive boots, shin pads, and clothing to support me on my journey, and that meant everything. They would call for updates, keep track of my changing sizes, and I never took a single thing for granted. That support fuelled me. Because I knew every time I stepped onto the pitch, I was being judged. Tired, sick, fatigued β€” I’m human. But no matter what, I worked at full capacity, regardless of how it looked to the critics. So thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey and continues to fuel me. Positive comments fuel me. Negative views fuel me. Visiting my page and not liking posts fuels me. Asking questions fuels me. It truly takes a village, and I’m grateful for every single one of you, no matter what form you come in. Greatness was never given; it was built in silence, in discipline, in the moments no one saw. Every setback sharpened me. Every doubt fuelled me. I’m not chasing validation; I’m chasing legacy. This is just the beginning. We’re about to kick down doors and demand the same recognition for the women’s game as the men’s, because women’s football is great. We are great. And to the girls I see every day those trying, training, watching football, and putting their best foot forward you will be part of this change one day. We are amazing. Stick together. Our time is now. πŸ’«βš½οΈ Thank You @iniumotong ❀️✍🏿 taken in Adidas HQ by @amarahboothe
