Today, I’m not just showing up as a member of Kappa Gamma Xi. I’m showing up as the woman behind the letters a woman who is still learning, growing, healing, and discovering just how powerful her voice truly is. 💜

One thing I genuinely love about myself is that I have never been afraid to speak my mind, express how I feel, or stand up for what I believe in. My voice has helped me gain knowledge, see things from different perspectives, and grow into a woman who values honesty, understanding, and meaningful communication. I know I still have so much to learn, but I’m proud of the woman I am becoming.

If I’m being completely honest, self-doubt is something I still struggle with. Sometimes, believing in myself is harder. I can encourage others, remind them of their worth, and see their potential, yet still have moments when I question my own. That is something I’m actively working on. I’m learning to give myself the same grace, patience, and encouragement that I give to others.

I’m learning that confidence doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It means showing up even when I’m uncertain, trusting myself even when fear creeps in, and refusing to let my doubts speak louder than my potential.

So today, my crown represents more than confidence. It represents my commitment to myself—to keep learning, to keep envisioning a better version of me, and to keep finding the strength to overcome the things that try to hold me back. I may not be where I want to be just yet, but I’m proud that I haven’t stopped becoming. 👑✨

Today, I want to take a moment to truly pour into you, Big Sister Calculus, and remind you just how deeply appreciated you are. You are such a genuine soul. No matter what challenges come your way, you continue to face them head-on. You don’t easily back down, and that quiet strength within you speaks volumes about the woman and sister you are. You have such a thoughtful and intuitive presence. You listen deeply, speak with intention, and have a way of seeing beyond the surface. I personally appreciate this about you more than you know. You encourage me with such gentle support, and sometimes your simplest words are exactly what I need to hear. Sissy, you are truly the blueprint definition of “No Sister Left Behind.” You make sure your sisters are heard, seen, valued, and supported. You understand that true sisterhood isn’t about standing above others—it’s about reaching back, extending your hand, and making sure nobody has to walk alone.In my eyes, you embody all Seven Principles: Honesty, Loyalty, Strength, Knowledge, Sacrifice, Vision, and Protection. You are outspoken, full of positive and bubbly energy, and when you set your mind on accomplishing something, you go beyond what is expected to make sure it gets done.
