Sometimes life can get so crazy busy and time flies by so quickly, that you don’t get to stop and 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 realize what’s right in front of you.

As I looked at these pics the other day of me and my Sissy with our little “sonshines” 💙🩵, I was just so 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥.

These are the things we’d talk about and pray for when we were younger. Even in the moments when life’s circumstances planted doubt, 𝐰𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡.

Now we get to enjoy these incredible moments, even on the hectic days, and have fun trying to capture the “perfect picture.” 🫶🏾 #GodIsGood

Meet the sunshine in our life, our little dancing Prince 🤴🏾 Zyair! Happy 2nd Birthday, aka Earthstrong 🎂🥳🎈🎉 to our bundle of J💙Y who loves to bust a move, play, laugh, and have the best time ever! But what I adore most about him is his big heart 🫶🏾 - he's so loving and energetic, spreading joy & making friends wherever he goes!🥰🤣

From a tiny NICU warrior 💪🏾to a big, strong boy 😍, Zy's journey has been nothing short of miraculous. Watching him grow and thrive has been an incredible journey, and I'm constantly amazed by his curiosity, enthusiasm, and love for life. Thank you, Jesus, for our precious ZyZy!🙏🏾🥹💙

𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙄 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙊𝘿 𝙞𝙨 ?💗

This year I was determined to truly celebrate my birthday alllll month long, something I’ve never really done. I wanted to end the month going to NY to spend time with one of my best friends from college, but wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull it off.

When my girl Patria @alostlens94 moved to NY in 2019, we just knew the girl trips would be a regular thing. Then… COVID happened… then 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚… then my Sissy Mareeka @amaris_star got married and relocated to the West Coast… then 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚… then job changes, surgeries, moves, pregnancy, babies… 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 🙃.

You’d think it can’t be that hard, right? However, this year I was determined to go. I needed a change of pace and to just 𝘽𝙀 for a minute.

𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 told me to book the flight and I did. Then hit up my Sissy to see if she could roll, and she could 🙌🏾; it was 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 happening 🤸🏾‍♀️!

So needless to say, I had the most amazing time and am in awe of how much the Lord cares about even the little things that are important to us.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝔹𝕃𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔼𝔻! 🩵🙏🏾💙

It’s been a beautiful holiday weekend and it was the perfect time for us to dedicate our precious 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 𝙗𝙤𝙮𝙨, back to the 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙.✨

One of the beautiful blessings for @amaris_star and I having babies in the same year of each other, is being able to celebrate some of their milestones and coordinate special opportunities together, and this was one of these moments. So along with our Hubby’s, Thad & Sean @allthingsnyks84 , we gathered with an intimate group of family, grandparents, godparents and “framily” to let the Lord know that our babies are ultimately His and we will raise them to choose Him as they grow.

And what made this 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 was having one of our former youth from our days volunteering as youth leaders, be the one to dedicate or little ones 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙤 𝙉𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣 @preachtheo ! What a wonderful full circle moment! We love you Lil’ Bro and are so proud of you! ☺️
