MARAGESHA — One of our most popular coffees is back in the catalogue. Produced by Wilder Lazo at La Dinastía, this Maragesha has become one of those coffees we keep coming back to. It has been used on the world stage by multiple competitors, and it is easy to understand why once you taste it. Expect nectarine, jasmine and a deeply layered profile with plenty of intensity, but also the clarity and structure that make it such an expressive coffee. Rare variety, exceptional producer, unmistakable cup. A team favourite and one we’re very happy to have back. by @amatterofconcrete
It started with a list. A few years ago, a Dutch customer left us her personal recommendations of specialty coffee roasters to try in the Netherlands. One of the names was A Matter of Concrete (AMOC), the Rotterdam roastery founded by Rob Clarijs, winner of Coffee Masters London 2019. A few months later, we placed our first order, and AMOC quickly became one of our favourite roasters. We loved their coffees, their approach to roasting and the incredible space they call home at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam. A few years later, during a visit to their roastery, we started working together on what would become our house coffee. Today, our house coffee is roasted by AMOC in Rotterdam. You’ll also find a rotating selection of their coffees on the menu at Barnum AMOC for Barnum. by @amatterofconcrete
