To the Devastating Delta Xi Chapter (D.O.D) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc:

Thank you for pushing me to be my best self inside and outside of Delta Land.

To my advisors: Thank you so much for keeping me grounded and most importantly never giving up on me. Thank you for pouring into me even when I didn’t want to hear the truth (😂), and I would never trade our bond for anything! I will forever be grateful for you all helping me flourish and becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.

To my MC: Ughhh where do i even start?? yall know how i get behind each and every one of yall <3. I know I be getting on yall nerves but I wouldn’t trade it for ANYTHING! thank you for being the true EPITOME of a big sister and guiding me through deltaland. I will forever always rely on yall. to my SPEC: Deedeeeeee🥹🥹🥹🥹 ahhh it’s crazy we’re both about to graduate together! I love you more than ANYTHING and you’ve taught me so much about myself that I didn’t even know! I am so proud of you and more than grateful to be yall neo <3.

To DD^27: Mannnnn, I love each and every one of yall with everything in me! Even when yall get on my nerves, you all helped me grow and most importantly build on this sisterhood that’s been established for 113 years. Continue to lead from the front, and yall 14 will still be in NC so it’s okay! (now😂). Continue to run the yard and do the work!

2 universities and a change of majors.

Delayed ≠ Denied.

A phrase that took me so long to truly understand until I was the one being on the delayed route. But I remained patient, gave myself grace, and really put my mind to obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.
I really did this all on my own— built my self back up after life threw its obstacles at me. Restorative justice will forever have a place in my heart❤️.

Forever sliding behind my 26, and DEFINITELY riding even HARDER for my Mama duck, Pres, and MC. I love yall eternally and without yall I would not have made it to deltaland. Forever grateful for my 22, my 7, and THEEEE Do or Die Delta Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
