Battle of Castillon
July 17th, 1453

The Battle of Castillon was fought between the French under Jean Bureau and English under John Talbot at the close of the Hundred Year’s War. Near the town of Castillon, French troops took up defensive positions on a hill in the Plain of Colles, where nearly 300 cannon and missile troops awaited an English assault.

After crossing the Lidoire stream, the English began their assault by sending waves of infantry and archers to the hilltop, where they were held off. French cavalry swept over the Lidoire to the East and crushed the English right flank, which caused the English to flee toward the Dordogne river. John Talbot was killed alongside his son at the base of the hill. This battle ended the Hundred Year’s War and solidified France as a dominant power in Europe.

The Sentry
Here’s my entry to @thespacecowboy820 ‘s contest #legoccc21
Figure is a combination of things from different historical time periods which I thought looked good together, but obviously is not too accurate, I was planning on doing a sword mod for this figure but I really didn’t have the time so I just painted this one up. Also, the background is a sneak peak of what I’ll be working on for the next few months, going to be my largest build ever, by far.

Cagayan Battles 1582

This was the build I brought to BFVA 2021. First I just wanna say thank you to all who gave feedback during the building process. And extra special thanks to @koscheilego for the picture and letting me borrow some figures, and @natelego_ for loaning me some parts to finish it up at the con. That being said, I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out, however the right side was kind of rushed and if I had more time I’d probably do some things differently such as the trench. Lmk what you guys think, Detail shots gonna be posted in the next couple days.
