"But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." Genesis 50:20

God's irony astounds me. As an adolescent, the enemy tried to destroy me by attacking my mind. None of what I did or went through in my youth was wasted. God said it wasn't for then or me, it was for now for them.

Lesson: What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good "to save much people alive."

So grateful God trusted me with this assignment. I did my best not to fumble this bag. They are too valuable.

When I tell you, @demiakandi blessed the young people of @2026.p2p today. They have been listening to her every week this summer and today she came to pour into them in person. But, they unexpectedly poured into her, too. by @amazingteistreet

Matthew 26:57-64

Preached a word today, titled, "The Power of Your Silence."

I. Many of us suffer from the "Can't Help Its." We can't help but day what is on our minds. Sometimes we give credence to things and people that don't deserve our response. Sometimes, there is great Power In Our Silence.
II. It looked as if the enemy was in control of Jesus, because they had hold of him
III. The Chief priests and the priests were seeking false witnesses against Jesus. They were looking for someone who had the tea on Jesus. They wanted to kill him. v.59
IV. Jesus was THE TRUTH and they lied on Him, the truth. So, why be concerned abt the people who lie on you.
V. In the midst of all the lies being told, Jesus held His peace (He was silent) v.63
VI. When we practice slience, we demonstrate self-control.
VII. Silence is a response. Sometimes it speaks louder than our words. Jesus was slient in the midst of the lies

VIII. Silence demonstrates strength. v. 63
The high priest wanted Jesus to prove who He was. The more time you spend
On proving yourself to others, you take time from doing what God has for you to do.
IX. Jesus said, "You said it." Some day you will see. V. 64
X. They will see. Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against you will prosper and every tongue that rises against you, you will condemn. by @amazingteistreet

To the men if Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., & the Sigma 614 Foundation, I am beyond grateful for this recognition.

This award hits different because a lifetime achievement award acknowledges a body of work, not just an act of service. Next year will be the 30 year anniversary of my leap of faith from chasing a corporate paycheck to chasing a concrete purpose.

In this third-third of my life, I am so grateful that I have young people, and some not-so-young anymore people who are part of my leadership legacy.

For this event, I will sponsor a table for my framily. I also want to have a table for my young people to join me as well. I am seeking people who will sponsor a seat for a teen as well. To date 2 people have agreed to sponsor a young person at $120. I need 8 additional people to sponsor a young person. Please let me know if you would like to sponsor. Proceeds go to the Sigma 614 Scholarship Fund to help young people go to college. by @amazingteistreet
