A floresta não revela seus segredos para quem tem pressa.

Caminhando um pouco mais devagar, aprendemos a enxergar o que sempre esteve ali.

Cada trilha percorrida, cada dia de campo, cada pequeno encontro entre folhas, insetos, aves e rios lembra que fazer ciência na Amazônia exige muito mais do que conhecimento técnico.

Exige tempo.

Exige curiosidade.

Exige paciência.

Exige respeito.

É caminhando que transformamos perguntas em conhecimento. E, sem perceber, também somos transformados por elas.

Acho que esse é o privilégio de viver a ciência na Amazônia.
