I am so excited to finally announce my verbal commitment to Roberts Wesleyan University, where I will continue my field hockey and academic career at the Division II level! I’m so beyond grateful for @roberts_fh for giving me this opportunity to grow and learn even more about the sport I love, my faith, and the career I want to take! I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome for my future. Also I would love to thank everyone who has pushed me to be the best I can be everyday, whether it was on or off the field. Thank you to my teammates, coaches, friends, and family. But I would love to give a special thanks to my mother! My mom has always pushed me to be the best person I could be. Even when I didn’t believe in myself she believed in me. She has worked so incredibly hard in helping me fulfill my dreams of going to college and playing field hockey, so thank you mom. Next year is going to be the best year yet! Go RedHawks! #rwuhawks #college #committed #fieldhockey by @amber.morgado

Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. Saying goodbye to you for the last time definitely wasn’t easy. Vavoa, you have shaped me as a person and I couldn’t even imagine a world without you until now. You were taken from this world way too soon, but you are now at peace. I will remember you by all the fun memories you’ve brought me throughout my life. Cancer sucks, but God said it was your time. God has a plan for everyone and this was his plan for you. May you rest very easy. I love you forever and always Vavoa. ❤️🪽 08•15•25 by @amber.morgado
