We are moving to the same town we got engaged at & I can’t believe it!! The beautiful Colorado Springs!!🏔️

As I leave Atlanta and head to Colorado, it truly feels like a full circle moment, and I’m so excited for it all. This will be our first time moving in together, and it couldn’t be in a more perfect place. We both love hiking and being in nature 🥾

We’ve lived in so many cities together but always had our own places. Whether it was a summer for my internship in Dallas, the next summer for your internship in Washington, D.C., you driving 12 hours every other weekend to Mizzou to see me, or me flying out to visit you in Atlanta and me moving to ATL for you to finish college. Now that we are both graduated, it’s time to leave ATL and move to a place that we will call home together! I’m so excited to do life with you @djrocks18 🫶🏽 💍🏔️

The fact that all we have is video screenshots of this day is hilarious 😆 but hey they will have to do!

On Friday, my fiancé graduated from the #1 Aerospace Engineering program in the country. On Saturday, he commissioned as Space Force Officer Johnson. He is the first African American man to commission as Space Force Officer from Georgia Tech, as the other gentlemen who commissioned with him were in the Air Force with the exception of my fiancé and one other guy whom commissioned into the Space Force. 🚀🎓

Watching him work tirelessly toward his goals has been nothing short of inspiring. I’m so proud to have stood by his side every step of the way. It’s only up from here my love! I know you will continue to do amazing and extraordinary things. It’s not like it’s rocket science… 😉
