“Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.”
— Proverbs 14:31 (NIV)

First and foremost, I want to give all thanks to God, who placed it on my heart to give back to the community. What started as just an idea became something real through His guidance and grace. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Oklahoma Valley Mission—today would not have been possible without your support, dedication, and willingness to help bring this vision to life.

Secondly, I want to thank each and every person who came out to help put together hygiene bags and sandwiches to give out. Your kindness, time, and effort truly mean more than words can express. You all will forever hold a special place in my heart. I also want to give a special thank you to everyone who donated items to go into the hygiene bags and contributed in any way—your generosity and willingness to give made a real difference and helped this outreach come together beautifully.

Giving back to the homeless has genuinely changed the way I view life. It reminded me how easy it is to take the smallest blessings for granted and how powerful even the simplest acts of kindness can be. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of compassion, empathy, and being present for others without judgment. It wasn’t just about giving—it was about connecting, understanding, and realizing that we are all more alike than we think. This moment will stay with me and continue to shape how I move through life and serve others. by @amber.tranae
