Day 24 🇭🇺🧳… Today was our last day in Budapest. We started the morning with breakfast at a local diner before heading to Fisherman’s Bastion. We spent time exploring the beautiful fortress and taking in its incredible views of the city. Next, we visited Vajdahunyad Castle, where we stumbled upon a medieval festival and even found the hidden mini Dracula statue outside the castle. Afterward, we stopped by the Széchenyi Thermal Baths before grabbing dinner and making our way back toward our apartment. Along the walk, we paused to enjoy a concert by the water before spending one final evening sitting in front of the Hungarian Parliament Building, taking in the beauty of the city one last time. Day 23☕️🥂… Today started with breakfast at the stunning New York Cafe in Budapest. I enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict and an iced macchiato while listening to live piano and violin music. After breakfast, we made the hike up to the Citadel, where we took in incredible views overlooking the city. Later, we explored the Central Market Hall and did a little shopping before enjoying some local favorites for dinner, including goulash and a mini lángos. After dinner, we went on an all you can drink boat tour on the Danube River. Day 22🇭🇺✨… Today we said our final goodbye to Greece after an unforgettable trip. We enjoyed one last breakfast at a local café before heading to the airport for our flight to Budapest. After arriving in Hungary, we went out for dinner where I tried squid ink pasta for the first time. We spent the evening exploring the beautiful streets of Budapest before calling it a night and getting some rest for the next days to come. taken in Budapest, Hungary by @amber__abroad

Day 21 🗼🔆… Today we took a trip to Melidoni Rethymni to explore the Melidoni Cave and learn about the history of the site. After exploring the cave, we drove to the town of Chaniá to walk to the Venetian Lighthouse. Day 20🏞️🥾… Today we woke up early to hike Samaria Gorge. Over 31k steps later, we took in all of the amazing views the hike had to offer. Once we finished the hike, we enjoyed some well-earned gyros before taking a ferry back to our car. Day 19☀️🪿… Today we started the day by going to the Arkadi Monastery, taking in the beautiful history. After exploring the monastery, we went to Lake Kournas to swim in the crystal clear water and walk around the nearby village. We stopped to grab some food at a small restaurant by the water before going to Elafonissi Beach. Day 18 ⛴️🥘… Today, we said goodbye to Mykonos and boarded a ferry to the beautiful island of Crete. We spent most of the day on the ferry, traveling across the Aegean Sea before arriving in Heraklion. Once we landed on the island, we had a delicious dinner in Heraklion. Day 17 ⚓️⛰️…Today, we went on a boat tour around Mykonos, stopping at the beautiful islands of Delos and Rhenia. We explored the islands, swam in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoyed an amazing barbecue lunch on board. After returning to Mykonos, we got ready for a night out, starting with dinner and drinks before heading to one of the clubs. Day 16 🍹🐟… Today, we enjoyed lunch at a local seafood restaurant before boarding a ferry to the island of Mykonos. After arriving, we spent some time exploring the island and before getting ready for the evening. We then went to a beautiful sunset dinner by the water, with amazing views. Day 15 🦊🏛️… Today I said goodbye to my study abroad group at the airport. After their flight from Dublin, I met up with Noah and the rest of the group to start the next part of my trip. We explored Athens for the day, stopping at museums, the Acropolis, and walking around the streets. We ate dinner at a local restaurant and finished the night with drinks and a rooftop view of the Acropolis. So excited for this next part of my trip! taken in Athens, Greece by @amber__abroad

Day 14 🇬🇷❤️… Today was the last day for study abroad! In the morning we flew back to Athens, right where the trip started. We walked around the city and enjoyed the views. We had a farewell dinner to send us off. Later that night, we wore our I ❤️ Greece shirts to the bar for one final night out. Such an amazing experience studying abroad. Day 13⛵️🦐… Today, we had a free day in Santorini and made the most of our last day on the island. We took a boat out to explore the coastline, snorkeled with fish, swam in the hot springs, and enjoyed the amazing views from the water. After the boat, we headed back to the hotel to relax by the pool and soak up the sun.
