@freewheelcycle_dundas Dirt Girls ride at Halton Agreement Forest (HAFTA) @agreementforest !

There were two groups and considering the rocky terrain the decaf group was a bit larger than the espresso group.

Lots of little wins for myself and the rest of the group. A big thanks to Mel at @stoked_mtb for always being such a great lead! Thanks to the other leads and sweeps as well. 🤍✨

Also….always love a ride with my OG bike babe @arianwenleona ! 🥰🙌🤙

@freewheelcycle_dundas Tuesday night Dirt Girls ladies ride was at Puslinch Tract this week and it was a blast as usual!

Turnout was small and we all got to ride together which was nice for a change! A new dirt girl joined us…her first ride back after becoming a mama! That is what these inclusive no drop rides are all about!

Thanks to Freewheel Cycle in #DowntownDundas and our fearless leaders this week Tara & Jane!

I had missed a few weeks so it was so good to be back at the @waterloocycling @the_hydrocut Sladys Ride sponsored by @ziggyscyclekw !

A special shout out to @coach.chris.s for leading the Skills & Thrills group tonight and to @martag1013 for always taking care of some little mechanical on almost every ride I’ve been on with her!

The weather was extra nice tonight with the cool air and a fresh breeze but don’t let the cooler air fool you…the mosquitos were still hungry! 🩸🦟🤣

It doesn’t matter how many times I go, I can’t miss checking out the falls. 🌊🤍✨

Lucky to go right after the rainfall with @leetheresawarden & Yoyo 🐶. We only passed a few people on trail and it was so peaceful.

Also found a Groot? 🪾🤎

Me vs my fear! 😅🙃🫣

Thanks to Mel @stoked_mtb for helping me progress timing with on trail drops @wcc_thepines .

Timing is good at a lower speeds but dialling up the speed will be a process I need to work on…and speed without proper timing would not be good!

Hope to continue to build on this foundation, increase my speed while maintaining proper timing so eventually I can drop some slightly larger features instead of rolling them which has caused me two OTBs (one resulting in a cracked rib). 😅😅😅

Onwards and upwards (while doing it safely)!

My first time at the @waterloocycling MTB Skills night was a blast! I joined WCC in early 2025 specifically for these skills night and although I’ve been going to the Sladys rides at the Hydrocut regularly, it’s taken this long to make it out to a skills night!

The group practiced bunny hops & cornering and thanks to great tips, encouragement and feedback from Ana-Maria and Mark, we all made progress! @cyclingvalentina blew me away with how quickly she caught on even though it was her first time ever on a mountain bike! 🔥🙌

@jodimaciag and I stayed after to practice some drops & jumps & catch the sunset while rehydrating.

Awesome night. 🚲🤍✨

🚘🛣️☕️ Day trip with @jodimaciag to @horseshoebikepark for for some opening weekend downhill action.

Great to run into some familiar faces and check out a bunch of runs I hadn’t done before including Over The Hedge….and I only had a panic attack on one (Gravity Cavity)! 🤣

Looks like I’m a Lone Ranger girl for now! 🤠
