🌞 It means the world to me that when I want our little tribe to enjoy a sunrise or sunset my husband will take us there… AND he will understand that I want to take a million pictures to capture the moment(s)! 🤪

Our planet is SO incredibly beautiful!
A GIFT.
And the sun’s light is an important part of that gift.
Whether it’s for the growth of our food, the warming of our bones, or the casting of light throughout the day, illuminating incredible views and giving us vitamin D.

I am SO thankful for the sun, the earth, my family, our ability to travel and enjoy the beauty of Creation!

🎉 Happy HAPPY birthday to my wonderful Aunt Patty!

Our recent visit to California was made so very special because I was able to spend more time with her (and Uncle Dave, of course!)… trying new things and making memories with my amazing aunt was one of my favorite things about being on the Central Coast. 🙏🏼✨🥰

I even tagged along with her to one of her line dancing classes… this woman can cut a rug, people! 💃🏻

She is FUN, beautiful, and has a kind/generous spirit!
And I cannot explain to y’all how blessed I feel to continue to get to know her and witness what a special person she is.

Truth be told, I AM a day late in posting these birthday wishes 🤪… but I cannot let the moment to extol this woman pass me by!

🐎 There is something about a horse…

I didn’t expect to be given the chance to connect with such a creature (let alone TWO of them), but I am so VERY glad that I was invited to ride that day.

An incredible group of women help to take care of these horses, and I am lucky to have been given the chance to not only see how special these animals are but to also witness the relationship between human and horse. ✨

🐴 Mohawk & Bailey 🐎 are both still on my mind, almost daily!
They were both so different and unique, and I feel honored that they let a little ol’ thing like me ride and connect with them. 😊
It was a calming and humbling experience.

Thankful to my dear Connie for allowing me to engage in this very personal, magical adventure. 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼
Cannot WAIT to get back on a horse!!

☀️ Life is GOOD when you connect with friends. ☀️

About a month ago I had the chance to hang with some dear friends from back-in-the-day.
We have known each other for many years, and it was a miracle the five of us got together, as some of us no longer live in the area.

Not everyone could make it, and several girls were greatly missed!
You know who you are. 😘

We lingered over a meal together at Blue Moon Over Avila and said our goodbyes… as you’ll see Keri ducked out early to go to her super-nerdy Dahlia Club. 😏

Until we meet again, sisters! 💃🏻

👉🏽 SWIPE to witness our hiking tradition! ✨

My husband and I like to take these funny pictures while out hiking. 🤪

This is the first pic where I’ve held miniatures of our two boys in my hand, though… normally it is my husband chillin’ in the palm of my hand. ✋🏻 BAHAHHAHA!

Aren’t they cute?!? ☺️

Parker Lake is a beautiful, easy hike in the Eastern Sierras! 🥾 🏔️
And it was just what we needed for the few hours we had available that afternoon.

Besides being mauled by mosquitos once we reached the lake, it was WONDERFUL! 🦟
Maybe this is an August thing, ‘cause Shawn & I don’t remember mosquito hordes when we hiked this in October. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Def great for kiddos. Perfect for a dip. 🏊🏻‍♀️
And our pup LOVED getting in the water, as well.
