I just dropped off several bags of items at Dragontail’s Consignment and realized, while chatting with Vicki, that I’ve been shopping and consigning with her for almost 19 years. I found her while I was pregnant with Abigail, and struggling to afford items for her nursery. In the next 4-5 years that followed, I was a very broke college student, but one who loved to look nice and dress my children well. Dragontail’s made that possible. We don’t NEED the money from consigning anymore, and that’s an incredible blessing. But I still take as much as I can because I love that Vicki accepts all brands (as long as they’ve been well kept and laundered). So she can continue offering nice, clean, and very affordable clothing options to families no matter their budget. That’s the kind of small business owner I love to support most.

Interesting rainy game day in McGregor. It did not stop pouring for even a moment of the game. 🤣 But we saw some improvements this week and the boys still worked super hard. (Sorry for the screaming if you watch the vids 🫣).

We had a blast watching the Savannah Bananas at Globe Life Field! My two favorite moments were how still and quiet the ball park was during the National Anthem- I’ve been to many professional games and I’ve never seen this much respect - and then later, both teams praying over a foster family after the org shared information about their non-profit, Bananas Foster. I have a newfound respect for what the Banana ball organization is doing in the baseball world. We will be back! taken in Globe Life Field by @amber_maceyra

The boys got it done. Three wins and a tie for the weekend. In the championship, O hit a beautiful in-the-park home run and pitched a complete game win, 14-1. So close to his first shut-out against a team we battled to tie yesterday. The team is strong this year and the vibes are HIGH. So grateful for the support of great parents and coaches who truly believe in our kiddo and give him the opportunities he deserves.

Also just incredibly proud of Oliver. He has worked VERY hard for the opportunities he’s getting now despite many challenges. by @amber_maceyra

Another tough loss. But proud of the effort, as always, from our Little Badgers.

Thank you, @snaketurn for coming to watch today. 💙 by @amber_maceyra

It’s not often that Oliver has fans in the stands! Today may not have been a great day for football but we’re so grateful for the support from his little village.

Finishing out the day at the baseball field was just what we needed. These LBC Lindeman boys are looking like they may be a force to be reckoned with this season!

Fall fun is back in full force and we love it so much. Family at the forefront and God at the center - we’re right where we’re meant to be. by @amber_maceyra

Great first game of the season for the 4/5th grade Badgers. They all played so well. Oliver did a great job at QB and safety and the whole team worked so well together! It’s going to be a great season. 💙 by @amber_maceyra

So ecstatic to be able to fill both our freezers with @1894baxterranch beef this morning. We are a FIRM “no way” to purchasing imported beef when this option is available so close to home.

The freezers at @fiestawinery are fully stocked with excellent quality Angus-Wagyu at a very reasonable price. Run out and have lunch and bring home your dinner.

Thank you so much @wrmccoury and @savannahraymccoury ❤️ by @amber_maceyra

Happy first day of 14th grade 😉😘 to my college girl.

This year @abigailwilliams6876 is a resident advisor with her very OWN on-campus apartment! She’s beginning her sophomore year majoring in Healthcare Administration on a dual-sport scholarship for basketball and track & field.

We love @goldeybeacom - she couldn’t have made a better choice.

So proud of you every day, angel. by @amber_maceyra

Today is Oliver Reid’s first day of his second year at @odahillcountry. We thank the Lord every day that academies like this exist for homeschool families like ours. And for the opportunity to give him an incredible education that’s customized to his strengths and emotional needs. Having the support and guidance of credentialed educators but the freedom to choose his classes, grade-level, location, and schedule has been a tremendous blessing that we do not take for granted.

We are wishing all students, in any and every academic journey, the most incredible school year. by @amber_maceyra

The Bad Guys, complete collection of books 1-10, then 17-19

The Dog Man, I’m not sure if they’re numbered. But we have each one Oliver ever asked about 🤷‍♀️

The Last Kids on Earth, just two. I must have given the rest of the series away already. If the person I gave it to see this, come get the rest. 😆 by @amber_maceyra
