TWO YEARS OF AMBER AURA SALON Two whole years of having the doors open to my very own salon, and honestly, what a journey it’s been! When I look back at where we started compared to where we are now, I feel so proud of everything we’ve built. There have been so many lessons, milestones, challenges and exciting moments along the way, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. This past year, in particular, has brought A LOT of changes to Amber Aura. We’ve grown, adapted, made changes to our space and continued to work towards making the salon everything I envisioned it to be. But amongst all those changes, two things have remained exactly the same… The constant hard work that goes into this salon and the welcoming, comfortable environment we want every single person who walks through our doors to experience. I’ve always wanted Amber Aura to be somewhere people feel comfortable, welcomed and looked after, whether they’re coming in for a treatment, popping in for a chat or simply spending a little time investing in themselves. And then there’s my two girls… I honestly couldn’t ask for a better team. I love these two so much, and I’m incredibly grateful for the harmonious little team we have. Having a salon where we support one another, work together and genuinely want to see each other succeed is something I will never take for granted. Running a business comes with enough challenges as it is, so having that lovely atmosphere amongst us makes such a difference, not just for us, but for everyone who comes through the salon doors, too. Two years in, and I’m still just as passionate about what we’re building as I was on day one. There’s still so much I want to achieve, so much more I want to do with the salon! To every client, every person who has supported us, recommended us, booked with us or simply cheered us on along the way — thank you. You’re all a part of the Amber Aura journey, and we wouldn’t be here without you. Here’s to two years of Amber Aura Salon, my two gorgeous girls, and everything that’s still to come. 🧡 Happy 2nd birthday to us! by @amberaurasalon
DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR SPRAY TAN SPECIALIST #SPRAYTANTHURSDAY ☕️ @amberaurasalon by @amberaurasalon
But seriously a little appreciation post for my very hardworking “salon husband” Behind the salon you see today is SO much love, time, hard work and dedication &&& honestly, so much of that is down to him. From helping turn what was once an empty office into the salon of my dreams, to building things with his own hands, creating my custom spray tan booth, fixing, moving, painting, problem-solving and constantly helping me bring all of my ideas to life… I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. There have been so many late nights, weekends, last-minute jobs and “I’ve just had another idea…” moments 😂 and he has been there for every single one. This salon isn’t just a business to me. It’s something we have poured so much love into together, and every little detail has a story behind it. I get to come into this beautiful space every day and do the job I absolutely love but I’ll never forget the person who helped me build it from the ground up. So here’s to my salon husband - my biggest supporter, my unofficial handyman, builder, problem solver and the person who has believed in me and my crazy ideas from day one. I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for helping me build my dream. WHO WANTS TO SEE THE NEW RECEPTION DESK?! by @amberaurasalon
MY CONTOUR CLINIC GLOW I genuinely can’t believe the difference microneedling has made to my skin - to the point where my clients are now noticing my glow through my makeup! I’ve always struggled with fairly severe rosacea, particularly the redness, and it’s something that really affected my confidence. I felt like I needed a full face of makeup whenever I went out to cover it. Since having my microneedling sessions, I’ve noticed such a huge reduction in redness and a real improvement in the overall look and feel of my skin. My complexion looks fresher, smoother and SO much more glowy. And I want to be completely transparent — microneedling isn’t the only treatment I have with Rebecca. I’ve had other treatments with her too, which I’m very open about and VERY happy with. I wouldn’t recommend or have treatments myself that I didn’t genuinely trust. But honestly, one of my favourite things about my skin journey has been the confidence it’s given me. I’m now comfortable going out without a full face of makeup on — and that feeling is priceless. &&& LUXURY FACIALS TO COME TO @thecontourclinicfx REAL SOON So if you’ve been thinking about starting your own skin journey, this is your sign! 📲 Book your treatment today with our wonderful aesthetics practitioner, Rebecca, and let’s get that glow started! by @amberaurasalon
A NEW LEVEL OF LUXURY IS COMING TO THE CONTOUR CLINIC… You asked. We listened. And now… something very special is almost here. We are incredibly excited to soon be introducing luxury facials to The Contour Clinic — a beautiful new treatment designed to give you that little escape, whilst leaving your skin feeling beautifully refreshed, radiant and cared for. We’ve been keeping this one under wraps… but we won’t be able to for much longer. Our very first appointments will be released soon. So, keep your eyes peeled, because you’re going to want to be one of the first through the door. 📍- @amberaurasalon by @amberaurasalon
There’s something quite vulnerable about posting a video of myself in swimwear… because if I’m honest, this is something I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember. Since I was a little girl, I’ve had moments where I’ve picked apart my body. My stomach, my legs, my size, the way I look in certain clothes… and if I’m being completely honest, those thoughts haven’t magically disappeared just because I’ve grown up. But I’m learning. I’m learning that I don’t want to spend my life waiting until I’m a certain size to wear the swimsuit, take the photo, go to the beach, enjoy the holiday or simply feel GOOD. Because we ALL deserve to enjoy those things. At every size. With every shape. With every tummy, every thigh, every stretch mark, every wobbly bit and every insecurity. And I wish, more than anything, that every single client who comes into my salon worried about their body could see themselves through my eyes. Because I don’t see the things you’re worrying about. I see YOU. I see how beautiful you are. I see your individuality. I see the person underneath the insecurities. We are all so incredibly unique, and there is no one version of “perfect”. Your body doesn’t have to look a certain way for you to deserve to feel confident, feminine, beautiful and worthy of being in the photo. So this is your little reminder from someone who is still learning this herself… Wear the swimwear. Take the photo. Go to the beach. Make the memories. Enjoy your body while you have it. Don’t let the fear of not looking “perfect” steal experiences that you deserve to have. ✨ And if you’re someone who sits in my tanning room worrying about how I’ll see your body… please know this: I wish you could see yourself through my eyes. 🤍 by @amberaurasalon

This one was really special to me… I had the absolute honour of spray tanning this beautiful bride for her big day - my salon girl @thecontourclinicfx and someone I just cannot live without Being part of her wedding in such a special way meant everything, and seeing her as a beautiful (inside and out) bride was just the most magical feeling. She looked truly incredible from head to toe, just as I knew she would The whole day was filled with so much love, laughter and the most beautiful moments… and to stand by her side as her witness was something I will treasure forever So proud of you, so grateful for you, and so honoured to have been a part of it all - love this family so much PHOTOGRAPHY - @kayleighaldousphotography SPRAY TAN - @amberauratan using @moroccantan MAKEUP - @bylaurenmua HAIR - @pins.plaits FLOWERS - @modafloralco DRESS - @allurebridals @suffolkbridaloutlet by @amberaurasalon
