Congratulations to the cast and crew of DESOLATION for being selected into the Dallas International Shorts Film Festival!

Whether under the blazing sun, the glowing sunset, or a blanket of desert stars, you created a safe, deeply supportive environment to honor a harrowing piece of history and somehow managed to turn it into art.

Just like Jayson’s life.

A special, profound thank you to Jayson Woodward. You took that tragic day in 1985 and turned it into a journey of survival and deep spiritual awakening—an absolute testament to the power of the human spirit.

Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and wisdom with us. 🦋

It is my deepest hope that this film helps other survivors feel seen, and lets them know they are never alone.

This project was a labor of pure love, justice, and an unshakeable determination to honor the truth.

With all my love and appreciation
Amber

Thank you, @voyagedallas for giving me the space to talk about acting, motherhood, the unexpected detour of navigating epilepsy, and finding my way back.

Timelines change. But sometimes you discover that your direction never really changed at all.

My interview with VoyageDallas is out now.
Here’s to staying curious, staying playful, and never losing the little kid who believed anything was possible. 🎬✨

Toy Story 5!!
As a Mother of 4, I’ve seen firsthand the effect technology has had on my kids. I’ve seen the light and I’ve seen the dark. Thank you @disney @pixar for showing a story we could practice empathy for sweet Bonnie, while also reminding us about the uplifting gift of the Imagination. It is funny, silly, warm and fuzzy! Movie going memory to hold on tight to my baby. May you always surround yourself with people that never lose the importance of both knowing, and expressing their inner child! Even when you are “grown” always PLAY! 🤪😎🥳🤭 by @amberburroughsactor
