FAMU I LOVE THEE

To the College of Love and Charity, thank you for pouring into me with unconditional love, unwavering support, & encouragement. Thank you for helping me become the woman I was always destined to be. You reminded me that success is never achieved alone it is built on the sacrifices, prayers, and generosity of those who believe in you, even when the journey feels impossible.

To Mama BAM & PAPA BAM, thank you for being one of my biggest supporters and for loving me so genuinely throughout this journey. Your prayers, encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering belief in me carried me through moments when I needed it most. Thank you for reminding me to keep pushing, celebrating every milestone with me, and always making sure I knew I had someone in my corner. Your love has never gone unnoticed, and I am forever grateful for everything you’ve poured into me. I love you beyond words, and this accomplishment is one you’ll always share with me. 🧡

As I graduate from THE #1 PUBLIC HBCU, I carry every lesson, every sacrifice, and every expression of love with me. I hope to pay it forward and become for someone else what so many of you have been for me.

Pressure Applied. Degree Secured. FAMU MADE. 🎓

To the School of Allied Health Science,

There was a time when I wasn’t sure if Health Informatics and Information Management was the path for me. I chose this major with curiosity, but I leave it with purpose.

I’ve discovered that HIIM is so much more than medical records. It’s the intersection of healthcare, technology, data analytics, privacy, compliance, and innovation. Behind every diagnosis, treatment plan, and healthcare breakthrough is the work of Health Informatics and Information Management professionals.

Somewhere between the lectures, coding assignments, data analysis, health information systems, and countless late nights, I fell in love with a field I never expected to become so passionate about. This major challenged me to think critically and lead with integrity.
I leave equipped with the knowledge, skills, and passion to do just that!

A chapter fit for a queen, a legacy that will outlive the crown. 👑

As I close this chapter at Florida A&M University, I can’t help but reflect on one of the greatest honors of my college experience serving as the Miss Junior Attendant 24-25!

To the FAMU Class of 2026! Thank you for trusting me to represent you as your Miss Junior Attendant. It has been one of the greatest honors of my collegiate career. Every event, conversation, and opportunity to serve reminded me that this title was never just about wearing a crown it was about leading with grace, humility, and love.

To my royal court sisters, thank you for becoming so much more than a court. You became my family, support system, and safe place. Through every rehearsal, appearance, celebration, challenge, “crash out,” and unforgettable memories we stood beside one another. We laughed, learned and grew together. I will forever love each of you.

To the Royal Court escorts thank you for carrying more than our trains; you carried us through this journey with unwavering support, laughter, and love. Y’all will forever have a special place in my heart.

To My Mr. and Miss FAMU, thank you for your leadership, friendship, and the example you set every day. It was truly an honor serving alongside you both.

To Omari and Lourdes, thank you for your patience, guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support. Thank you for believing, pouring and encouraging us to be the very best versions of ourselves I am forever grateful for everything you’ve done for our court.

A special thank you to Anikah. There truly aren’t enough words. Thank you for being there every step of the way, piece by piece. Through all of milestones, challenges, and every victory, your encouragement and support never wavered.

More than a lady, always a JEWELS. 💎

As I close this chapter at Florida A&M University, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for the people and experiences that made this journey unforgettable.

To the FAMU Branch of Jewels Incorporated, thank you for giving me a sisterhood rooted in service, leadership, love, and purpose. Thank you to my Jewel sisters for every laugh, late night, event, word of encouragement, and memory that I’ll carry long after graduation.

To my Big Tamerah 🫂, thank you for being so much more than a Big. Thank you for believing in me, leading me, pouring into me. Your guidance, love, wisdom, and unwavering support have shaped my journey in ways words can’t fully express. I will forever be grateful for the impact you’ve made on my life.

To Malachite, thank you for being the class that walked with me, challenged me, and reminded me that growth is even sweeter when it’s shared. My very first sisters on campus! I love yall down!
