today’s my last first day of university!!! congrats to all the last first day students out there too, we are so close hehe :))

First part of this transition was wrapping up my internship this summer and the second half was today, the last first day (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧I wanted to commemorate this little milestone/transition this year, even if it’s something small and cute like my nails.

Also *big* shoutout to @kukoclub_ !✨!💗! 💅🏻!
I cannot recommend her enough!! Please show her some love because she truly deserves it. Her work is unmatched, and I finally feel like someone can finally bring my ideas to life while encouraging fun designs and ensuring every step is carried out with such care and precision ₍₍ ( ๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓)◞♡

I can’t wait to try more food places yall recommended soon!! I felt guilty holding onto this treasured list so I made it a mission to pump this reel out asap :) lmk if you ever go to any of these places + what you ordered !!! :))

ps. FORGOT AN IMPORTANT NOTE: THEIR SIDE DISHES WERE SO GOOD (like best I’ve ever had in Calgary) ;-; Funny enough, my favourite part of the whole meal. So refreshing and yummy :))) the meal wouldn’t have been the same without it. When I had to pack to go, I wish I was able to buy their side dishes to go >.<*

*reminder that you are loved today, tomorrow and every day*

video context: Flying from one city in China to the next with my sister back in November 2023 to visit family ;) My sister accidentally melted the chocolate bar included in our inflight meal and decided to make adorable designs on crackers for me. I thought it was so cutest thing ever and wanted to record it to save this wholesome memory. It felt like we were little kids again

When I realized it had been over a year since my last post, I felt the personal pressure to create an extravagant, time-consuming year end scrapbook style post. But as the months went by, that pressure only grew. To all the perfectionist procrastinators out there, I get it. People will have opinions, regardless of what you do or how you do it. I can’t say I’m completely free from my perfectionist habits as I spent a solid hour searching for what I wanted to post to semi match in color or aesthetic with my previous posts… but hey! baby steps hehe :) So hopefully this baby step from my end, helps you take your baby steps elsewhere! June 2021: I had the opportunity to model for @saucyburgerca and I genuinely had a such fun experience!! From the amazing coordinator, the photographer to the chef /owner photobombing our shots. The experience catapulted my interest in stepping out of my comfort zone. Lil cheesy (like my burger hehe) but I hope 2023, teaches me a lot. I hope to step out of my comfort zone more often :) If I had a pinpoint one word I wish 2023 to be, it would be "change". I hope this is the year I truly focus on my health, well-being and grow like I've never grown before. I'm a little scared but I know y'all will be there next to me through it all, just like how I will be for you <3 thank you so much for your continuous support, love and kindness. August 26/2021: - being transparent -

BOY OH BOY what a day this was. I was having such a poopy week and I wanted to give myself a reset and go on a self care date. Self care in the sense that I do what feels right for me and do whatever I want for however long I want. So if I want to sit in a park and eat for 2 hrs, so be it. If I wanted to go pet some cats, so be it. Spoiler: the lil self care schedule in the second slide… yeah I barely did any of that >.<. From my car getting towed, getting a parking ticket, not eating all day, carrying around a 50 lbs pot of soil around downtown in the dark with heels only for the person to not to be home, being behind in all my summer classes… the list really goes on. I was in such a negative mindset and each day I felt like something bad will happen, almost as if it were guaranteed and that thought carried my week. I tried my best to smile through the week. But as I went to sit down after spilling my bubble tea all over me, this dog jumped up on me and was so happy and was bouncing around with so much joy, the sight made me tear up and break down. The purity of the dogs joy made me feel so many emotions. I want to be that happy, I want everyone around me to be that happy. The only thing that was stopping me from that happiness was myself. Of course bad things will happen, but good things will happen too! I’m just as human as all y’all :) I have bad days and good days, y’all just see the good days more often cause when I’m bawling my eyes out, my first thought isn’t, “hey let’s Instagram this!”. Ultimately, I hope this post helped you, whether it be the understanding that content creators are people too, that everyone has bad days, you’re never alone, or knowing that someone is always rooting for you and your happiness aka me :)

p.s it’s kinda crazy how a simple photo or a memo can take you back to a certain day and all the strong emotions attached to that particular period (｡･･｡)
