When I think of @efteling, I don’t immediately think of fine dining. Now that they’ve opened 2 new concepts, I may start thinking differently! 🎢

This was everything we are in the amusement park at Brasserie 7! Each dish had a ✨ magical ✨ component such as “Princess Tears” (citrus oil), which really keeps the theme of the park itself going throughout the meal. We paid €45 for 3 courses, and honestly I’d do it again. 💜

There’s a big Thai festival in The Hague this weekend, and there will be an even bigger one next month!

Do you know what my favorite Thai seafood soup is? 🍜

Not as common as tom yum or tom kha—which you can find anywhere. It is yen ta fo.

I wouldn’t call it spicy. But I would call it tangy/pungent. It’s sweet-sour-ish. The base is made from fermented red bean paste, and it usually contains a mix of rolled fish cake, fish balls, squid, sometimes mussels, fried shrimp, or whatever other seafood they’ve got on hand.

The funniest thing happened to me at this restaurant. 🤭

No, not during this trip. A previous one. I was telling the cook to “burn me—I dare you!” You know, to give me the spiciest thing he could make. 🔥

He kept telling me not to ask for that, and that he’s made grown men cry before. I kept pushing him, anyway. So, he gives in and provides a little spicy something on the side of something made extra-extra hot, which I completely ingest. LAWD. 🥵

The thing is, I enjoy lava spice. But my face? It looks like I am suffering. The man keeps coming by to check on me, and I keep trying to convince him “I’m fine! I’m happy!” And he would chuckle to himself as I clearly looked like I needed an emergency room with my lava dish, and my “I’m okay” was convincing no one. 🌋

Don’t worry, they won’t make it too spicy if you go! If you really wanna push your luck though, you can maybe try—I don’t know if I’d recommend daring them to hurt you. 😅

Finally 😩 good tacos 🌮

@camino.amsterdam is usually packed, so I was happy to find a space walking in today. The salsa bar doesn’t disappoint and as a self-appointed “salsa sommelier,” I’m so glad to have discovered this place.

Boy, does @navenantmagazine know how to throw a party! 🥂

I’m extremely grateful to have attended their networking event alongside @jpminternational_horseshow at @stalhendrix. 🐎

There were even some celebrities there! @petrouschka.dahmen 🍾 and @femke.kok ⛸️

I’m thankful Dutch showjumpers @juliaottox and @driessenbritt signed my Best Friend Book (a book clearly made for children), but I am sad that I didn’t ask Femke. 😂 🫶
