If Only That Little Girl Knew… 🥹🩷

If I could go back and tell that little girl anything, it would be that she’s going to make it. 🩷

Life won’t always be easy. There will be heartbreaks, setbacks, tears, and moments when she questions herself. But there will also be so much laughter, love, growth, and accomplishments she never imagined.

Becoming a nurse wasn’t always part of the plan, but I’m so thankful for the journey that brought me here. 🩺❤️

At 51, I’m still learning, still growing, still chasing dreams, and definitely still figuring life out! 😂

And I hope that little girl would look at me today and say, “I’m so proud of you.” 🥹💕

I’m 51, working full-time as an RN, running on iced coffee, dog cuddles, and a little bit of chaos! 😂☕🐾

I’m not famous, I don’t have a perfect life, and I definitely haven’t figured out this whole TikTok thing yet. But you know what? I’m showing up anyway!

I’m watching everyday people change their lives simply by being themselves, sharing their stories, and taking a chance. And it got me thinking… WHY NOT ME?! 💕

Maybe I’ll grow a huge following. Maybe I’ll make some extra money. Maybe I’ll just meet some amazing people along the way. But one thing I know for sure… I’ll never find out if I don’t try!

So here’s to starting something new at 51, stepping outside our comfort zones, and believing that the best chapters might still be ahead of us! 🥂✨

At 51, I’ve learned that my eyes have seen heartbreak, happiness, love, lessons, and everything in between. And somehow, they still sparkle. ✨💕

There’s so much more to a person than what you see in a 15-second video. 🤍

I’m iced coffee, flip-flops and sunsets. Deep conversations and handwritten letters. Beach walks, rom-coms, my daughter, and a Black Lab who pretty much owns my heart. 😂🐾

Some dogs come into your life and somehow become part of your heart in a way you never expected. 🖤🐾

This is Maverick.

My big, goofy, sweet boy with giant paws, a tender heart, and absolutely no idea how much space he takes up. 😂 He can make me laugh when I don’t feel like laughing, follow me around like my personal shadow, annoy Chanel like it’s his full-time job, and somehow always know when I need him close.

I wanted to make something that captured who he really is—not just a dog, but family. So I made an original song about him and put together some of my favorite moments of the boy who makes ordinary days a whole lot better. 🥹

The line “big old bruiser, tender heart” might describe him better than anything ever could. He may look big and tough, but underneath all of that Lab energy is one of the sweetest souls. ❤️

And of course, Chanel had to make it into the song too… because what would Maverick’s story be without his favorite little partner in crime? 🐕🐈‍⬛

Someday these videos will mean even more than they do today. So I’m saving the goofy moments, the adventures, the cuddles, the chaos, the tail wags, the wet paws, the toys scattered everywhere and all the little everyday things that are so easy to take for granted.

Because the truth is, we never get enough time with them.

So here’s to Maverick—the dog who turned himself into one of the biggest pieces of my heart. 🖤

Sometimes moving isn’t just about changing where you live… it’s about leaving behind an old version of yourself. 🤍

So many memories were made here—the good, the hard, and everything in between. I’m closing this door grateful for what this chapter taught me and excited for everything waiting on the other side.
