4 years ago, i committed to UF for the promise of a debt-free, top public education. what they neglect to mention on the campus tours is how much learning and growth you experience beyond the classroom (or zoom lectures 🙄) if you’re lucky. UF taught me more about myself and my worth than i ever could’ve dreamt. it’s the place where i felt i lost everything, and also the place that gave me the strength and tools to rebuild. it’s overwhelming saying bye to a place that’s home to some of my favorite moments and has brought me some of my favorite people, but i find comfort in knowing these memories and connections are for life. i’ll forever love my everything school. 💌🐊

bittersweet is this being my first milestone without my mima, but i know she was yelling the loudest when i walked across that stage (and laughing the hardest when i dropped my cap 😭). i have the strongest woman i’ve ever known as my angel, and i know she’ll guide me through this next chapter. 🤍
