POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My favorite part of the week is receiving book mail. I know overconsumption can be a real issue in the bookish world, and I’m most certainly guilty of it myself,so for the sake of transparency, know that once I read a book atleast half of the time I am passing it along to a friend or family member to enjoy as well.
However, my special editions couldn’t be pried out of my cold 🪦hands. lol
This week I received some fabulous books:
📚Ony Love Can Hurt Like This by @paigetoonauthor
(Seven Summers is my favorite book by Paige, and I cannot wait to read this!)
📚Give Me Butterflies by @jillianmeadowswrites
(@saylessreadmore I’m following orders)
📚Daggermouth by @hm.wolfe This special Edition is from @smutandsipbox and they did an incredible job with the artwork and formatting.
📚Falling Like Leaves by @mistywilsonwrites This edition is a @barnesandnoble exclusive that my friend Thalia @nightlyreadandtea found for me. It’s adorable and has beautiful sprayed edges.

Are there any new releases you’re looking forward to seeing this month?

DARKTOBER WEEK TWO!

We both successfully read AND enjoyed our first week reads.

Amber read not only book one, but the entire trilogy for week one!

I read Where’s Molly, and really enjoyed it. It was my first HD Carlton read and the writing style really hooked me.

Are you reading any books on theme this month?!

DARKTOBER has arrived!! 🖤

Amber & I are back again with another monthly challenge! This time it’s Dark Romances on our physical TBR.

Each week, we will select a book from each other’s list for them to read over the week! Keeping ourselves accountable and shrinking the never shrinking physical TBR shelves.

WEEK ONE:
🖤 Amber will be reading Hills of Shivers and Shadows by Pam Godwin

🖤 I will be reading Where’s Molly by HD Carlton

Some readers may argue that the ‘ber months usher in spooky themes and fallen leaves only.
As for me…gimme a villain, or vengeance on the brain, any day!
Here are some bad boy rec’s to set your TBR up, and to make you fall as the days get cooler.

THE MOOD HAS ARRIVED!!

This week BOTH, Amber and I struggled reading from the fall challenge. Amber had other ARCs due and I was traveling. We both felt like fall reads were too cozy for the busy week we had, BUT we each completed one book, so we’ll count that as a win for the week!!

Can you follow a set reading list each month?
