Sunday! Aparna Nancherla is in Richmond for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Coalition Theater. 💎 We are truly blessed. I'm featuring and Randolph Washington Jr. is hosting. This is going to be fantastic show and there is literally one handful of tickets left. So if you're waiting, don't! Link in my bio or at rvacomedy.com. See you there 🩷

**UPDATE - ADOPTED!!!!!**

INTRODUCING MERLE! A sweet, floofy kitty boy estimated to be around 5-6 years old. Merle was neutered at the end of May and has been settling into indoor life ever since. He loves pets and being brushed and has made huge strides in becoming more confident. Like many retired Tom cats, Merle tested positive for FIV but is in very good health (his teeth are excellent!).
.
Merle would do best in a calm environment. He has some experience in foster with other cats (check the slides!), but Merle would also do well as a solo cat. He's very content sitting in his window perch and getting occasional skritches and nose kisses. He's also very tidy - a litter box champ - and is overall low maintenance.
.
Merle's ideal adopter would be someone familiar with FIV (or willing to educate themselves) and committed to keeping Merle indoors only. FIV positive cats can live long and happy lives and share a household with cats who are FIV negative. FIV is spread via deep bite wounds - hence the frequency among unaltered males outdoors - and is unlikely to be an issue in a stable indoor environment. Cats with FIV can have dental issues (like all cats) and may be more susceptible to infection, so adopters should be willing to stick to a schedule of regular vet visits and vaccines.
.
Merle is a great kitty and I'm excited for him to find his forever home. Happy to answer any questions about him!
.
