Garden of Gethsemane, Israel, 2019.
•
I’m thinking back to what it felt like to stand in this ancient garden. It felt, smelled, and looked so old and beautiful. This is the same place where Yeshua (Jesus) prayed so intensely that he sweats blood. Just before he is arrested to go be crucified.

Jesus just wanted his friends to stay awake with him to pray. Why do you think? I think he wanted them to be present with him as friends during his greatest moment of spiritual battle. And I think there’s a sobering call to the Church (all followers of Yeshua) today. Will we stay awake? Will we watch for his return? Do we care enough to pray with this type of agony along with Him? Are we going to be found sleeping when he comes back? I pray not. by @amberjoyblais

✨ If we’re driving someplace new Madeleine will often ask us if we know where we are going and keep asking if we’ve missed a turn. I found this a very real metaphor for life’s journey and often I ask God the same questions. 😅2024 was another year of change and transition as we learn to trust the one who actually DOES know where He’s going. We are learning again and again what this looks like.

Come along with me on a super mundane and normal Monday. A little work, a little cleaning, a little candle biz admin… nothing too crazy about today. But as I was putting Madeleine to bed I was just so grateful for the totally normalcy and sweetness of this life. 🥰❤️🙏 Thanks for coming along. What does your Monday normally look like? by @amberjoyblais

We took a super spontaneous trip to DC to check out the @campstores x @disney Encanto and it honestly was way better than I imagined! Super engaging and fun for our daughter (and us honestly lol!!) Highly recommend if you haven’t checked it out before. 🥰🎉#campstores taken in Washington D. C. by @amberjoyblais
