My little environmental science project 🌸🐝🌻

I planted flowers for the pollinators… and now I get to sit back and watch the neighborhood move in. 🥹

Bees covered in pollen, hummingbirds stopping for a drink, butterflies passing through — all because I gave a tiny piece of the world back to them.

Turns out healing can look like growing things, watching things grow, and sharing your flowers with your pollinator friends. 🫶🏼🌎🌸

Yesterday’s backyard friends 🐝🌻🦋

A little late-summer life happening right outside our door. 🫶🏼

And the soundtrack makes this one extra special — Agony in the Living Room, a local St. Paul band featuring Uncle Chris’s nephew John. 🎸🎶

So naturally… Uncle Chris’s backyard friends needed Nephew John’s music. 🥹

Minnesota grown — flowers, pollinators & music. 🌻🐝🎸

Go give Agony in the Living Room a listen and show some love to local music. 🫶🏼🎶

Three weeks ago I couldn’t imagine getting outside again.

This scooter gave me my independence back. It let me enjoy my deck, get fresh air, and safely move around while protecting my healing ankle.

As an OR nurse, I’ve helped care for countless surgical patients. This summer I became the patient, and I’m sharing the products that genuinely helped me during recovery.

If you’re preparing for ankle surgery or recovering from a foot injury, this is one item I’d buy again.

Turning a recovery diary into something memorable.🛴🛴
I found a scooter twin.
Those aren’t just product reviews—they’re genuinely useful.

Healing isn’t one moment.

It’s the cast you finally get to take off.
The first shower.
The knee scooter.
Ice packs.
Physical therapy.
Waiting rooms.
Tiny victories no one else notices.

As an OR nurse, I’ve cared for thousands of surgical patients.
This summer, I became one again.

Recovery has taught me as much about compassion as nursing ever did.

One step at a time. 🩵

boujee on a budget. DIY designer scented lotion. My fav base unscented lotion is CeraVe ceramide lotion (cheapest at costco). Then I mix in designer sample fragrance, and stir.
