#jummamubarak Happy Friday 💚🤲✨
Before this beautiful Friday is over here’s a quick post. The last couple of months have been life changing. I’ve had some ups and some downs. I’ve Worked the hardest I’ve ever worked and still came up short. Disconnected from ppl I loved so much and had my life turned upside down. Then in a blink of an eye it all started to make sense. Everything lead me down a path to bring me closer to Allah and find my deen. To make room for blessings I had no idea we’re coming, wether it came in forms of situations, people or things I never expected. I’ve never felt closer to the amazing ppl in my life or with myself. Everything up to this point has been exactly what was suppose to happen and more than worth it. It’s not my timing it’s Allahs timing and I fully trust in it. Good , bad , whatever. It’s been an amazing year and it’s not over yet and Im looking forward to everything it has in store for me!

I hope he knows how much these moments truly mean to me. I love being a fighter, it changed my entire life. And now I get to find even more love in watching my brother on the same journey. Watching all my brothers grow into men and find their way in life is something I thank Allah for everyday. I’m so proud of them and love them more than I think they truly know! @mattledward

Truth is… life has felt a little different lately.

Last year I started realizing things were changing, and this year it really hit me that they have. My life, my mindset, my relationships, my deen, my goals, even the way I approach training.

For most of my career, discipline came easy because there was always a fight ahead of me. A reason. A deadline. Now I’m learning how to show up for myself without that now that I’m fighting way less than I ever have in my career. I’m Learning how to train, live, grow, and stay grounded in a completely different season of life.

And honestly? I think more people relate to that than social media makes it seem. I’m not perfect. I have days where I’m locked in and days where I struggle. Days where my discipline is strong and days where it slips. But I keep showing up.

I’m not who I used to be, and I’m yet the person I’m becoming . I’m somewhere in between learning, rebuilding, reconnecting, and trying to find solid ground under my feet again.

And maybe that’s what growth actually looks like. But honestly Alhamdulillah for everything because at the end of the day I know Gods got me and what’s ment for me will never miss!

This was my first pad session after Ramadan—and I’m not going to lie, it was tough.

The last three years, training during Ramadan has been a real challenge for me. Finding that balance between faith, discipline, and performance isn’t something I’ve fully mastered yet.

I have so much respect for those who are able to stay consistent and keep a strict regimen throughout the month. That takes a different level of strength—mentally, physically, and spiritually.

For me, it’s still a work in progress… but we’re back to work now. One step at a time 🤲🤍

EID MUBARAK ✨🤲

Alhamdulillah for another Ramadan, for growth, for patience, and for the unseen blessings that came with it.

Thank you @whatstheaddieee and @ocmadeit for opening your hearts and your family to me. Being able to spend Eid with you and my beautiful niece and nephews means more to me than words can express. It fills a space in my heart that I’ve deeply felt since most of my blood family lives far away.

I’m also so grateful for my brother @mattledward truly my ride or die this Ramadan. From helping me, to showing up for iftars, to just being there for me in ways that don’t go unnoticed… I’ll never forget that.

Allah has blessed me not only with a supportive family, but with a community I now call family, people who share this deen with me and who I can celebrate these sacred moments with. That alone is a gift I don’t take lightly.

This Ramadan was different. It tested me. There were moments I felt lost, moments I was begging Allah to guide me, to speak to me… and SubhanAllah, just when I needed it most, He answered me in the most beautiful and unexpected way — with an invitation I could have never imagined. (More on that soon 🤍)

I am endlessly grateful to be Muslim. To have been guided. To have found Allah.

May Allah accept all of your fasts, your prayers, your intentions, and reward you in ways beyond what you can see or imagine. 🤍

What an AWESOME Weekend of Fights for the CSA Amateur Team This weekend at the @majorleaguemt Tournament!!!

We put 7 Fighters in and All 7 are now Amateur Champions after taking on some of the very best Muaythai teams from Northern California.

I could not be prouder of this current generation of young fighters we are cultivating her at CSA. These guys and gals are such good team mates, such hard workers and truly appreciative of everything you do for them. @mattledward @chill_pham @harpreetk271 @oscarsal15 @ronan_pitto @carla_jayne15 and @arashabassi_ all fought incredibly well this weekend!!!

They all made me proud to be their Coach through not just their fight skill, but more importantly their actions outside the ring, the way they carried them selves, the way they represented the gym, their team spirit and support they showed each other is what means the most to me.

Just as importantly, I have to thank the Coaches and the Senior Leadership on this team for being there for the team this weekend.

Coach @mausutaimuaythai as always was simply amazing this weekend helping me corner and prepare the team to perform their best. We are so blessed to have Coach Mau here with us he’s helped make this team better in every way 🙏.

The always amazing @amberleibrock_mma and @missjessyjess helped so much each day leading up to and getting the team ready, helping keep the team on schedule, warmed up and on track each and every day.

Despite being in camp @dreamkiller_bolanos my “A1 Since Day 1” and the @themuaythaiprincess went out of their way and made the trip every single day to help in every possible capacity from warming fighters up, to coaching, to confidence building, to cheering, to braiding hair 😂 … these two did it all!

Also a huge thank you to @majorleaguemt for putting on the very 1st Muaythai Tournament in the Bay Area I was super impressed with how well they ran things and I look forward to taking the team to many more!!! kudos to #MLMT

Ever since my fight, things have been an emotional roller coaster. During my fight, I was so sick. I didn’t even think I was gonna be able to do it and after my fight, I was still so sick. I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it lol. Then my mom had some scary health stuff going on, I had some other scary health stuff going on and then my dog had scary health stuff going on, to say the least it’s been a lot lately. On top of all of that I’ve been trying to get back into training, I enrolled in my first semester of school, trying to get back to competing jiu jitsu and trying to get back into fight shape. Things have been moving slower than I would like. I would like to say I’m mastering it all right now but it’s been 1 foot in front of the other for me latley and that’s as fast as I can go. But hey Alhamdulillah for everything even tho it’s moving slow it’s moving and Allah never gives me more than I can handle!
