VBS!!! 🥽☀️✨6️⃣7️⃣ It has been so so fun watching the kids grow in their relationships with the Lord and recite the verses from this week! Me and Kealeigh loved our kids so much despite having to get onto them a good bit😭😭 My favorite verse from this week was Psalms 139:1, “O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.” This verse provides us with a sense of comfort, knowing that the Lord knows every little thing about us from each hair on our heads to the struggles that we face inside of our hearts. God is our Creator, God knows everything, God is our safe place, God is love, God is forever, Amen. taken in Second Baptist Church by @amberly_mander

Camp Awaken 2026! James 4:8, “Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.” We can spend our whole lives asking where God is while He’s asking where WE are. God Is NEVER hidden, He is always here. We’re just somewhere else, wherever that may be. You don’t have to be worthy in order to draw near to Him, in fact, the reason we draw near to Him is because nothing else is worthy of our souls. I’ve worshipped this week in a way I never have before. I will raise my hands and praise Him again and again because He is so worthy. We spend so much of our lives tearing ourselves apart and finding satisfaction in earthly possessions or gains, not realizing that He is MORE than enough! He is stronger than any mental illness and I’ve realized that myself. He is stronger than any rift, sickness, or kind of pain. Only His hand has the kind of touch that can heal. I’m so so so grateful for everyone I’ve gotten to hang out with and talk to over the past few days. I’ve made so many memories and had so many moments with the Lord. I’m forever grateful for the experience that was given to me. Draw near to Him, and you’ll discover that He was NEVER far away, you were. taken in Fort Bluff Youth Camp by @amberly_mander
