chapter 1

*tentatively* starting a new thing where I animate a sentence of two from each chapter.

Forced myself to finish it :’) I still have a ton to learn about animating and backgrounds and allathat. This one took a lot of trial and error for being so simple.

chapter 2

You’re on the Blue now, and there’s no going back.

This took way longer than it needed to because I was avoiding animating things i haven’t done/am uncomfortable with (coughcoughinteriors). But I pushed through so I can animate chapter 3, which I’m actually so excited about !

I want to share more from this project than I normally do, especially animated stuff.

Haven’t done a full background in a minute 🫪🫪 gotta make myself do more of those.

The most nothing animation of all time 😃
I have so many animations I’ve done recently and can’t share yet, so I just want to put something out there. This is the character animation piece for an in progress scene from the first chapter. Who knows if I’ll finish it 🥲

The first time I played Halo 3 I knew I was going to draw this scene. Took a couple years to get the courage (spartan armor is hard !) but I finally got around to it.

Dust jacket art for Satellites by @authorrhearainwater !

WOW when Rhea described this scene to me to illustrate, I was like IMMEDIATELY YES. I’ve been wanting to do a crazy chaotic background like this for years. Also the character designs and the poses! Everything about this was just 🤌🤌

Character art for @authorrhearainwater ‘s book “Satellites” 😇

I had a lot of fun on the lighting for this one. There is no real source and I kinda just did whatever looked spacey/dreamy. by @ambernereid_

“Satellites” cover for @authorrhearainwater !!

Sci fi is my favorite genre for pretty much everything ever so I’m super stoked that I got to work on this.

However…I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much time on title lettering! But I’m glad I pushed through because I love how it turned out.

*Cosma*
Steel Sucker

Test animation for Cosma now in *vertical* format 🤍

I almost always prefer to animate in landscape but idk, I kinda like this one better.

Swipe for the old version from 2022 😬

Siren from Jibaro / Love Death and Robots (the best episode)

I started this in an airport a few months ago and gave up because the background wasn’t working. Turns out I needed to get rid of most of it 😅 by @ambernereid_

Leeloo Dallas Multipass 👍

Kinda feels like I forgot how to draw ?? I’m trying to doodle more to get back into it.
