There is something magical about walking through the pine forest in Palanga 🌲
The tall pines rise quietly toward the sky, their branches moving gently with the Baltic wind, while the scent of resin and sea air follows you along the forest paths 🍃
The forest feels like a peaceful meeting point between land and sea. Somewhere beyond the trees you can hear the distant sound of waves 🌊

Countless times I swum here 🏊‍♀️ And so many times I have crossed this lake by boat and gone fishing that I don't even remember 🚣‍♀️🎣
I thought I knew this lake by heart 💙 But only now I saw it from above for the very first time. And I realized, even the places we know best can still surprise us and leave us breathless with their beauty 🏞
Just 24 summers by this lake. Turns out, it's not enough 😅

This year instead of going abroad we chose to explore our homeland - Lithuania 🇱🇹

Our holiday greeted us with unpredictable weather (unbearable heat or intensive storms), but nature still gifted us something unforgettable, an incredible sunset, that was also captured from a bird's-eye view with our drone 🦅

From ancient times, a Lithuanian’s heart has belonged to nature - to the rustling of forests, the calm of lakes, the flow of rivers, and the scent of meadows 🧡 As the saying goes, in nature not only the human body rests, but the soul as well 🌿

Since childhood, my parents used to take me & my sister to spend our summer holidays by the lake. My dad would take us fishing - I was an early bird, so I would wake up for the morning fishing shift, while my sister, true to being a night owl, would fish with him in the evenings 🏞🎣

Now that I’m grown up, my own family and I rest like true Lithuanians in nature – by a lake surrounded by forest. Only my baby is still too small for fishing 👶

So I, an early-bird mom, woke up early this morning at 4:20 a.m. just to enjoy that morning calm my dad taught me to appreciate - when nature is just beginning to awaken 💙
