When it’s not bad, but could be better! Painting the living room left it feeling like a hug and shockingly looks bigger than it did before. We love our new top down bottom up Roman shade from @neutralcurtains They are gorgeous Belgian linen. The best addition to this space. Function and form at their finest!

Also, which lamp!? The yellow is bold but the light it gives is goood. Trying to decide if I can do it.

As far as I know they are sleeping pretty well!! Not very many people could handle a surprise room design. But I’m looking for people who can!

I love helping people create homes that feel like them. I also have a family that needs me in ways that aren’t always predictable. I’m a mom of three raising two disabled young adults. Navigating the meetings, emails and home visits I had was not working any longer.

For a long time, it felt like I had to choose between being present at home and doing work I love and that I am good at.

I’m finally realizing I don’t need to choose. I needed a few people who wanted a different kind of service. This is not for everyone. But this will allow me to give fully formed designs to homes that need my help, while still being present for the ones who need help in my own home.

It’s a simpler approach—but not a smaller one.

I will deliver a fully finished room. Then, I’ll show you all exactly how I did it too!

These shelves did not come here to be subtle. They are not going to be for everybody, I know. But they are making me oh so happy!

Overstyled? Maybe for some.
Maximalist? Absolutely.
Thoughtful? Yes! I really did intend for them to be colorful and represent our family. There are so many things that mean a lot to me here.

And honestly, I love them exactly like this. They will change over and over again though because this is basically my very own grown up dollhouse.

Layered, collected, a little dramatic, and very much on purpose.
