Introducing the 2026 Farming Apprenticeship Class! Our 9 new farmers are coming from different backgrounds with the same interest: FARMING.

Farmers are retiring at a rapid rate and we're at a critical moment to train the next generation of food growers, producers, and advocates to help feed our future. These are the faces of the folks growing the vegetables and flowers here at Amber Waves...and we are so grateful for the young people who step up to do this work with us.

Classes start today! For over 15 years we’ve had the pleasure of hosting Amagansett Elementary school classes. Thank you for helping us trail blaze this program where we connect your classroom with the farm.

🌾 Little Farmer Classes (Ages 1.5 – 4 yrs)
Mon/Wed (9:30-10:30 AM)

👩‍🍳 Cooking Classes (Ages 2 – 12+ yrs)
Friday (9:30-10:30 AM)

🎉 FREE Weekend Activities (Ages 1.5 – 10 yrs)

Saturday + Sunday Exploration Garden: Sat/Sun (9:30 AM - 11:00 AM) – Pay What You Can Community event sponsored by our donors! Reservations not required.

Mark Your Calendars:

Our "Stone Soup Celebration" with musical guest Heather Forest is on Saturday, October 17th, 11AM.

Our "Annual Lantern Walk" is Friday, November 13th at 4:30-6:00PM, rain date Saturday, November 14th at 4:30-6:00PM.

Cooking class starts promptly as scheduled. Late comers who will miss harvest time will not be able to join the class.
