Busy weekend, but such a good one! 💙 Feeling extra grateful for my “Dance Source Family”- the old and the new!

Celebrated the wonderful Judi Friedman’s 80th birthday 🎂 and wrapped up the busy weekend with the most amazing master class with Tricia Miranda! 🔥

So many people and memories tied to “this” studio after all these years. Feeling very lucky to have all these people that have become extended family 💙 by @amberwittmers

Today, we had to say goodbye to our Skittles, a cherished member of our family who blessed our lives for 14 wonderful years.

Skittles was far more than a pet; she was a constant source of joy, a loyal companion, and a bright light in our home. For nearly two years, she fought lymphoma with an incredible, quiet bravery that inspired us all. She fought so hard because she loved her life with us, and she refused to let go of the moments that brought her joy.

Today, her long battle ended, and she is finally free from pain, resting in absolute peace. She leaves behind a legacy of pure love though our hearts are broken.

For Landon, she was a true best friend who offered comfort without needing words. Breaking this news to him will be one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life.

For her sister, Snickers, she was a constant partner, a guide, and a source of security. The bond they shared will never truly be broken.

Though our hearts are heavy today, we choose to remember Skittles not by her illness, but by her funny hair do, her love for water, and the happiness she gave us every single day.

Thank you, sweet Skittles, for 14 years of unconditional love. You fought a good fight, you loved us well, and you will never be forgotten.

48 years of life celebrated ❤️
13 years of marriage today 💍
And today also begins our 16th year of owning The Dance Source. 💙

Three pretty amazing milestones that have me feeling extra grateful for this life Mike and I have built together.

A family I love, a marriage I’m incredibly thankful for, and a dance studio that started as a dream 15 years ago and has grown into something bigger than we ever could have imagined.

There have been plenty of highs, lows, laughter, tears, long days and even longer nights along the way—but I wouldn’t trade this crazy life for anything.

Here’s to 48, 13 & 16 🥂✨

We are incredibly honored to have received the Studio Evolution Award from Hollywood Connection. 💙🏆

Thank you to everyone at Hollywood Connection for this recognition and for the incredibly kind words shared about Mike and me. They truly meant the world to us.

Fifteen years ago, when we opened The Dance Source, we had a vision. We wanted to build more than great dancers-we wanted to help develop great people. We wanted our students to leave our studio with the confidence, discipline, work ethic, and character to succeed wherever life took them. Whether that meant becoming professional dancers, teaching the next generation, earning college dance scholarships, dancing on college teams, or pursuing dreams outside of dance, our goal has always been to prepare them for whatever comes next.

Looking back now, it’s amazing to see those dreams become reality.

This award also belongs to our four former students who are now employed by Hollywood Connection. Seeing you represent not only yourselves, but also our studio with such professionalism, integrity, and incredible work ethic is something we’re unbelievably proud of. We may have helped guide and shape your journey, but the people you’ve become and the way you’ve earned the respect of those around you is entirely your own.

To our dance families, faculty, alumni, and every dancer who has walked through our doors over the past 15 years—thank you. This award represents all of us. We couldn’t be more grateful to be part of such an incredible dance family. 💙🧡

Landon had the BEST year at Copper Ridge, and we are so grateful for the amazing memories, friendships, and experiences this year brought him ✨

A huge thank you to Mrs. Maslick for being such a wonderful teacher and for making this year so special. We are also so thankful for all of his incredible classmates and friends who made every day so much fun 🥹
