Zürich, Switzerland — I'm certainly more of a traveler than a vacationer. I jumped off the plane after an 8 hr flight, checked into my hotel room, got dressed for the day, and headed out to explore the city.

Zürich was packed with people bustling about and the city sits on a beautiful waterfront so there was some semi-feeling of calm amongst the people?

This by far was one of my fav shots from this city.

Loved seeing all of the mopeds & their various color-ways.

Wengen, Switzerland — After two and half hours and four transfers, I ended up in Wengen.

I couldn't stop myself from saying, "my God" because wow, wow, wow.

You mean to tell me people just see this every day?

Views from the balcony of my room at Hotel Alpenrose — A quaint family owned hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed during my stay.

Quiet on the creek — The water in Switzerland will be missed.

Did you know?

"About 80% of Swiss drinking water comes from underground springs and groundwater, while 20% comes from lakes. Half of this water is so clean it requires no chemical treatment before coming out of the tap."

Needless to say, it was so good.

Hotel Alpenrose - Amazing staff, four course dining service, and views.

The great thing is you can decide if you want to include breakfast and/or dinner with your stay.

You also get a guest pass that provides discounted tickets for certain transportation or excursions in the Jungfrau region.

I'm convinced, some of the most beautiful lakes are in Switzerland. I exclusively used the train to get around the region & Spiez was a must see.

The positive aspect of the train is that some transfers are quick and others have a small wait/layover.

I was able to step outside the train station in Spiez and capture this picture while waiting for my next transfer.

I debated on going to Oeschinen Lake because I was exhausted and the time change was kicking my behind, but so happy I did. The views were immaculate.

In my opinion, a good picture is all about dimension.

And landscape photography? Give me some clouds. Every time. The shadows, the depth, the taken in Switzerland by @amberxregina
