⏱️ Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves that life isn't meant to be lived in a constant state of alertness. Our bodies need moments of silence, our minds need room to breathe, and our senses deserve a little rest from the endless stream of impressions coming our way.

🎶 With Spacemusic 18.10 — Parasympathetic, I'd like to invite you into that space. A place where ambient music and electronic soundscapes become more than something to listen to. Let the sounds absorb you, allow the rhythms to settle, and give yourself permission to slow down. And you’re walking along with me in the Netherlands...Where I am right now, and where the fresh air is doing us good.

⭐️ Featuring: Outer Bankx, Lorenzo Montanà, I Awake, Ancient Astronaut, Lars Leonhard, Halcyon Hall, Off The Sky, Robert Scott Thompson, David Helpling, Eric Taylor, Anne Chris Bakker, Alpha Wave Movement, Jupiter, Chronotope Project, Off Land.

💬 “ The parasympathetic nervous system plays an important role in rest and recovery. Perhaps this is a good moment to explore what happens when we consciously make room for both! “

=== SHOW AVAILABLE through Ambient.Zone, Patreon and Apple podcasts. Links are everywhere===

'Hello' .... 🇳🇱

Open your eyes, you're in Holland my friend.

For me a pleasant break from the dust, noise, concrete, warm air, barking dogs, racing motor cycles, cracks and road humps, things that Cyprus not even tries to hide.

What I still like about The Netherlands: what you see is what you get. Planned. Structured. Filed. Sorted. No nonsense.

It is wonderful to receive so many reactions and messages. It really means a lot to me! Thank you all.

Posting this is incredibly scary; it makes me feel very vulnerable. But as a professional podcaster, I wanted to share this with my audience—to gain clarity and acceptance for myself, and to raise awareness about SSNHL, a surprisingly common condition that still requires a great deal of research.

You can watch the video on the Ambient Zone YouTube channel.

ℹ️ In May 2026, I suddenly lost most of the hearing in my left ear.

The diagnosis: Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL).

The cause: unknown //

🎻 Space Symphony — is a journey shaped by the music itself. The unexpected. The unknown. Tracks that seem to have a conversation with each other, and with the listener. While somehow it becomes a soundtrack to all our lives — right here, right now.

✨I’m not going to tell you too much about where this one goes. That would spoil the journey. But if you think you know what to expect from Spacemusic after all these years… try me!

➡️ Featuring music by: Hollan Holmes, Bola, Chronotope Project, Alpha Wave Movement, Benoît Pioulard, Biome, Daniel Coppens, R Beny, Tetsu Inoue, David de Michele, Halftribe, Subtle Shift.

“It moves, it breathes, it connects things you might not expect to hear together, and somewhere along the way, the music simply creeps inside you; you want to feel it, you want to hear it—loud!”

Space Symphony.

Orchestrated and Composed by the moment.
Performed by the artists, experienced by you.

Available through Apple podcasts, Ambient Zone and our Patreon page.

ENJOY!!!

After the rain ...

All is well here in the South again, after the incredible Summer Storm yesterday which is a rare phenomenon in Cyprus in the month of August. Last time on such a scale was back in 2017 and 1971.

'Extreme National Alert' our phones said at 12.15pm , thunder, lightning, heavy rainfall, flooding, strong winds, hail and what not.

Flights were diverted to other airports, fallen trees, power outages, and damage to greenhouses and photovoltaic installations were reported in districts like Larnaca, Paphos, and Strovolos.

Plenty water for the dams, to give things a positive twist 😉 Oh... and a very welcome (temporary) cool-off by 10 degrees.

What a Saturday it has been!...

NEW PODCAST! ☀️💦🎶🎉💚✨

Here we are in August - Lightning Moon today - I'm back on the Island of Aphrodite, back in the studio enjoying a cool breeze from the aircon …

The hottest time of the year with suddenly an unexpected flow of tunes accompanying it, soundscapes and music that not only help you relax but also make you feel a much deeper layer than you will experience in everyday life. File under : lowercase, drone, deep ambient.

All tracks are created by a single artist: Dionisaf - Hailing from the USA, executed using modular and granular synths, among others. As director of Chitra Records and its subdivisions such as Ambient Cat, he also manages to release a beautiful series of self-produced albums that are more than worth listening to!

Support this work available immediately via his Bandcamp page. More details on our site, look for today's post or click the link in the BIO.

No walking this morning , and not because my phone says so, I simply and wisely decided to start up the easy way and stay home 😉

August is 'hell' so far and I knew this was coming again ... Houses are not built to stay warm or cool, they simply copy whats going on in the outside world, including water in the air.

Welcome to Cyprus! Something you probably won't read in any brochure 😉
