WE WILL BE ON SUMMER BREAK 7/6 — 9/11 🏝️ by @ambikas.kitchenn

Howdy! Radhe Radhe! 💫🤠
A Reflection & update on this year’s focus.

Last year saw a reckoning in my personal life. Whatever I create is heavily infused with my being—Alexa was going thru it, therefore Ambika’s also went through it (for the better). This reckoning helped me see the systems I need, the team I want to surround myself with, my spiritual practice to uphold, and my responsibility for the energy I put out and take from the world.

This may not mean anything to a customer or follower, but that isn’t who I’m intending this reflection to reach. It’s a clear boundary with myself. Ambika’s loses its center when it places profit before people. This is a bitter irony to navigate while operating in America. And so here I am anyway. As I have said before—

Ambika’s Kitchen is a devotional offering to the divine couple: Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.

That’s all this is. That’s all that I am. This is all I do. Everything in service to something beyond human intellect to understand.

My focus this year is to keep Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa at the center. Everything else falls together when my actions are aligned with truth. The moment a dash of selfishness is mixed in my batter, I suffer immensely.

This platform is to inspire others to cook plant-based, provide a vegan alternative, and hold the vision (harmony between plants, animals, and humans).

Fun projects are coming—on divine time, and a whole lot slower than anyone is used to. Being in harmony with the Earth means good things come in seasons: a patient, intentional process, free from mass production, overwork, or exploitation.

Thank you for supporting this vision!
Thank you @sydstudios.photo for capturing these! 🎞️

Grace has a funny way of showing up… and sometimes it looks like a really good meal.😋

That’s a big part of why we share prasadam at Satsang & Kirtan!

Food prepared with intention, offered with love, and received in community becomes so much more than just a meal. This is a deeper type of nourishment.

When offering the food to Krishna, he gives us grace in return and reminds us that we are cared for, provided for, and connected in ways we don’t always see.

You definitely don’t have to “get” all the traditions or rituals. Just come with an open heart (and maybe a little curiosity) to receive this type of true nourishment, and enjoy a full belly!

Prasadam is lovingly prepared by @ambikas.kitchenn every 4th Friday (2nd Fridays are our sweet community potluck vibes). It’s always vegan and, honestly… It’s so good every single time.

Come hang, chant, eat, and be together.
We’d love to see you there!
