Ah today we bid a super fond farewell to our gorgeous Deri (creator of this beautiful latte art 💖) for the season… she will hopefully be back with us in Spring… but for now fear your eyes on her beautiful coffee in all its sumptuous glory!

(And if you want one of her coffees get yourself down there quick…! 😘)

World Mental Health Day 💟

Everyone will have their own thing that makes them feel better… sometimes it’s just about being able to feel anything at all… and for some that will be a hug from a trusted human, a plunge into cold water, a moving piece of music, a stroke of your favourite dog… whatever your thing is make sure you remember to do it; every day if possible - it’s all to easy to get trapped into thinking there’s not enough time or too much to do… it’s a myth. Don’t believe it. Or do believe it but do the thing anyway.

And if you don’t know what your thing is I’ve found nature to always be a reliable place to start exploring… and we are so flipping lucky to be surrounded by so much of its glory here 💚

Be well, go well; go gently ~ much love x

We know lots of you adore autumn (we do too) and we also know a lot of you don’t love the rain that Autumn can bring… so we are tightly cherishing every drop of sunshine in this slide towards our seasonal hibernation… and the forecast says the sun will come out to play later today… come relish with us… 🌞 🍂

(We also have the best hot chocolates, herbal teas and chai if a cosy corner is needed for a little shelter from the rain this morning… plus freshly baked chocolate brownies on the counter 😉)

It’s time… the first conkers have fallen, the mornings are cooler… and you gloriously seasonal beings have started hibernating… and with that so shall we… 🍂
~ it’s not quite time for our full slumber - we’re still gathering all the autumn goodness to see us through winter 🐿️

So from this week we’ll be open four days instead of six… Thursday through to Sunday… the light is still so lovely in the gardens - come and gather some to see you through… 🌞

Good grief there’s a lot of bugs flying around as these seasons transition aren’t there?! It’s almost like we’re meant to slow down and take stock or something… 🤭

We think we’ve the perfect spot for a lil recuperation and recalibration* with a cuppa and bit of journaling… yes we do have these lovely new Flourish journals for sale and our delish Dark Woods Coffee which we think pair up and do the job perfectly!

We’ll be winding down for the season soon… but for now we’re still here every day except Tuesday; 9:30am to 4pm 🏡 🌞 🍂

*or a ‘sit and think’ as Sarah & Duck would say! Still a very firm favourite in our house x
