Can you actually pass this singer’s test? 🎤

Looks easy.

Until you try it. 😏

The goal isn’t to sing loudly.
The goal is to stay steady, controlled and on pitch from beginning to end.

Start from the note that feels comfortable and see how far you can go without:

❌ straining
❌ shouting
❌ losing your pitch

This is one of the simplest ways to build a stronger singing foundation—and yes, even professional singers practice exercises like this regularly.

👇 Here’s your challenge:

🎯 Sing along with me.
🎯 Comment the highest note you reached (C3, D3, F#3… all the way up!)
🎯 Save this reel and come back in 7 days to see if you’ve improved.

I’ll be reading the comments and cheering you on. 🎤🔥

❌ Stop trying to impress the audience. ❌

One of the biggest mistakes performers make is believing their job is to sing to the audience.

Your job is to create moments where the audience becomes part of the performance.

That’s when a concert becomes an experience.

🎤 Leave space for the audience. Every song has moments where you can stop singing and let them take over.

🕺Move with intention. If you’re rooted to one spot because you’re afraid of missing notes, your energy stays rooted too. Build your technique until movement feels natural.

👁️ Make eye contact and invite participation. People sing louder when they feel they’re part of the show, not just watching it.

Try these the next time you’re singing in front of people and watch how they respond to you with more love and energy ❤️🔥

Sometimes, what holds us back isn't a lack of talent or opportunities. It's the fear of being judged, waiting for the perfect moment, or convincing ourselves that we're not ready yet.

Growth begins when we stop letting these thoughts make decisions for us and start giving ourselves a chance.

Which one do you find yourself struggling with the most?

✨ The night of ultimate abundance is here! ✨

Sharad Purnima is the only full moon night in the entire year when the moon shines with all 16 divine attributes (Shodasha Kala). It is believed that the moon drops divine nectar through its silver rays tonight, making it a cosmic window for deep healing, mental peace, and financial breakthrough. 🌕🔮

🥣 The Kheer Ritual & Next Morning Blessing:

• Place your Rice Kheer in a glass or silver bowl under direct moonlight tonight.

• Let it absorb the charged silver energy for at least 2–4 hours (ideally between 10 PM and midnight).

• How to consume: Eat it the next morning on an empty stomach as a divine, energized Prasad. It is traditionally believed to boost immunity, calm the nervous system, and purify your aura.

🧘‍♂️ The Power of the Mantra:

We are chanting “Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Mahalakshmyai Namah” because it combines the ultimate seed (Beej) sounds of the universe to unlock the wealth frequency:

• Om: The universal primordial sound.

• Shreem: The sound of Lakshmi (abundance, luxury, and beauty.)

• Hreem: The sound of Bhuvaneshwari (creative energy and manifestation power.)

• Kleem: The sound of attraction (drawing your desires directly to you.)

Chanting this 108 times under the Sharad Purnima moon activates these cosmic frequencies, clearing financial blocks and attracting effortless prosperity into your life.

🌟 Bonus Rituals for Tonight:
• Keep a clean wallet: Leave your wallet or a few currency notes under the moonlight for a few minutes to charge them with wealth energy.

• Meditation: Sit under the open sky for 10–15 minutes. The moonlight tonight is deeply soothing for emotional healing and anxiety.

Your voice doesn’t exist in isolation from the rest of your body.

Singing is physical.

If your body lacks strength and endurance, you may find yourself running out of breath, losing stability, struggling to maintain energy through a long performance, or feeling physically exhausted before the show is even over.

That’s one reason I strength train.

Not because I need to “look fit” on stage.

Because I need my body to support my voice.

When you perform, you’re asking your body to do a lot at once:

🎤 Control your breath
🎤 Maintain vocal stability
🎤 Sing for long periods
🎤 Move around the stage
🎤 Hold your posture
🎤 Engage with the audience
🎤 Sometimes dance or perform choreography

That’s a workout.

And you can’t expect your body to suddenly have the stamina for a 90-minute performance if you never train the body outside of it.

Your vocal cords make the sound.
Your body supports the performance.

So don’t only train your voice.

Train the instrument that carries it.

Your whole body.

When you’re performing live, the microphone isn’t just something you hold.

It has to become an extension of your body.

One of the most common mistakes performers make is not anticipating the exact moment the vocal comes in.

If you move the mic away just before your vocal starts, the audience hears the track before they see the mic come back to your mouth — and suddenly it looks like you’re lip-syncing.

Here’s how to avoid it:

🎤 Know the count.
Don’t just know the lyrics. Know exactly when your vocal enters.

🎤 Anticipate the beat.
If your vocal starts on the next beat, your mic should already be in position before that beat arrives.

🎤 Practice the mic movement.
Your rehearsals shouldn’t only be about singing. Practice where your mic is during every intro, interlude, movement and vocal entry.

🎤 Make the mic part of your choreography.
If you’re going to move, turn, dance or interact with the audience, your microphone has to move with you — not against you.

The audience doesn’t know what’s happening in your head.

They only see what happens on stage.

So don’t leave your microphone movement to chance.

Rehearse the voice. Rehearse the body. Rehearse the mic.

That’s what makes a live performance look effortless.

Only the really smart ones will get this. 🤣

You can have a great voice and still look uncomfortable on stage.

And you can watch someone who isn’t necessarily the strongest vocalist in the room completely own the stage.

Why?

Because stage presence isn’t just about your voice.

Look at what Priyanka Chopra does: she moves with the music, uses her body, plays with her expressions, connects with the audience and communicates the story physically.

That’s what makes a performer magnetic.

Your audience isn’t only listening to you.

They’re watching you.

So if you’re a singer who:

* stands rooted to one spot
* overthinks what to do with your hands
* looks down while singing
* focuses so much on the notes that you forget the audience
* feels awkward moving on stage

…your voice may not be the problem.

Your body may simply not know how to perform the song yet.

Start asking yourself:

“What does this song need my BODY to say?”

Because when your voice, body and emotion tell the same story…

that’s when you stop just singing and start performing. 🎤🔥

Save this before your next performance — and send it to a singer who needs to hear this.

What if your vocal warm-up was also a way to reconnect with your inner power? 🔱

That’s why I love the humble “HUM”.

In yogic and tantric traditions, HUM (हूं) is associated with the throat chakra and with the transformative, protective energy of Lord Shiva.

When you hum, feel the vibration move through your throat, face and chest.

Use it as a vocal warm-up.
Use it as a grounding practice.
Use it as a moment to release what you no longer need to carry.

HUM is not just a sound. It can become an intention.

Before any important meeting, close your eyes, take a breath and hum slowly:

HUUUUMMMMM… 🔱

Let the vibration remind you:

Your voice carries your energy.
Your voice carries your truth.
Your voice is your power.

Save this for your next vocal practice and send it to someone who needs to reconnect with their voice. by @ambilimenon

⭐️ Unlearning the obsession with hitting higher notes.
⭐️ Unlearning the need to sound like the original singer.
⭐️ Unlearning the belief that every practice session has to sound amazing.
⭐️ Unlearning the idea that technique is everything.
⭐️ Unlearning the guilt around resting.
⭐️ And, perhaps most importantly, unlearning the idea that I need to become a perfect singer.

I’m not trying to sound perfect anymore.

I’m trying to sound like me. 🎤

And honestly, I think that’s where a singer’s real voice begins. by @ambilimenon
