Local Love #63 @mekeni.co Launch Party 🇵🇭

My recent fragrance adventures led me to the launch party of SF’s very own @jo_qt_ and the launch of her fine fragrance house, @mekeni.co!! Last night was the debut of collection no.1 called Pamilya, which captures the essence of her family, and her dearest childhood memories growing up in the Philippines. The four scents that make up the Pamilya Collection are:

💚Pandan Sampaguita: Floral Sweet
Top: Pandan Leaf, Bergamot
Middle: Sampaguita, Coconut Milk
Base: Vanilla, Sandalwood

💜Salty Ube: Ozonic
Top: Sea Salt, Pistachio
Middle: Ube, Salted Butter
Base: Benzoin, Sandalwood

💛Polvoron: Lactonic Musk
Top: Rice Steam
Middle: Almond Blossom, Condensed Milk
Base: Toasted Rice, White Musk

🩶Tricycle Smoke: Smoky Metallic
Top: Black Pepper, Juniper
Middle: Saffron, Birch Tar
Base: Vetiver, Guaiac Wood

Immediately (more like urgently 🤣) Polvoron and Pandan Sampaguita are on the wishlist! The bottle design (done by @sab.yeh ) gives the look and feel of luxury, with the phenomenal atomizer (🔟🔟🔟’s across the board!!) being an oversprayers dream (like yours truly) come true!

A hugggggeee hug and big congrats to Joanna, her team, and the successful launch of mekeni! I’m looking forward to what’s to come next! As of yesterday, the website is live and you can purchase all things @mekeni.co from there!!
