🎬 That’s a wrap!

An amazing day filming in the fields with the hardworking people from one of Quebec’s largest potato producers — the people behind some of our favourite chips! 🥔

Proud to have captured their voices, their story and the sounds of their craft alongside a fantastic crew. 🎙️🙌 by @ambrielsounds

While production sound has been my focus for years, I’m grateful to continue growing on the post-production side. This marks my second post-production sound project with Transformer Table, taking the audio from dialogue cleanup and editing to the final broadcast mix and loudness compliance for North American TV.

Every project is another opportunity to refine the craft.

Thank you to everyone who continues to trust me with their audio.

Quality & Reliability – Commitment to Excellence.

Great sound isn’t just about what people hear—it’s about what they don’t notice.

Hitting the target is only part of the job,
Dialling in the final mix and making sure every detail lands where it should.

🎧 One more project ready for delivery. From set to final mix.

Really happy with how this choir recording turned out.

For this session, I paired a Sennheiser MKH 50 with an Audio-Technica AT4025b stereo microphone. The MKH 50 provided focused detail, clarity, and articulation, while the AT4025b captured the natural width, ambience, and depth of the room. “The MKH50 + AT4025b combination was absolutely flawless on this choir session. The MKH50 delivered clarity and focus while the 4025b captured the width and emotion of the room.

Blending the two approaches created a recording that feels both intimate and spacious—preserving the precision of individual voices while retaining the energy and emotion of the full choir.

Sometimes the magic isn’t just in the microphones themselves, but in finding the right combination for the space, the performers, and the moment.

Great sound isn’t an accident.

It’s preparation, experience, attention to detail, and the right tools for the job.

Grateful to keep doing what I love and helping productions bring their stories to life.
