Can we normalize one frame posts with no music and calling it a day? 😛

From a supervisor-student relationship for so many years to collaborating colleagues at the first ever international Olive Schreiner conference 🇿🇦

This conference marked the centenary of the publication of “From Man to Man and Perhaps Only—“

It’s been an incredible two days listening to other projects, sharing my work and meeting writers and literary scholars from all over the world who are passionate about all things literature and its connections to real life — and in this case, Olive Schreiner’s work and influence!

I feel very honoured to have been in a room with so many writers and scholars whose work I admire, especially as the youngest person there (I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t overwhelmed in the days leading up to it 😭). There’s something really special about being able to learn from those who have come before me, while also finding my own place in these conversations

Dr Davids’ and my paper will be published in an academic journal in the coming weeks 🤲🏼 taken in University of the Western Cape by @ambrsml
